We've had so many enquiries lately about our Aqua Treadmill that I thought I'd put together a quick video showing it in action, along with a simple comparison between a traditional circular water walker and an Aqua Treadmill.
Our Aqua Treadmill allows us to tailor every single session to the individual horse.
Whether you're bringing a horse back from injury, improving strength and fitness, or simply looking for another way to condition your horse, every programme is customised to suit their specific needs.
Some of the ways we use the treadmill include:
π΄ Strength and conditioning.
π΄ Tendon & other soft tissue rehabilitation following injury or surgery.
π΄ Targeting the weakness of specific muscle groups.
π΄ Improving gait and movement patterns.
π΄ Recovery sessions after competition or hard work
π΄ Controlled hill work and resistance training.
One of the biggest advantages is the ability to precisely adjust water depth, speed and incline throughout the session, allowing us to create a highly individualised programme rather than a one-size-fits-all workout.
Whether your horse is an elite competition horse, a pleasure horse, a young horse starting work, or simply needs careful rehabilitation, the Aqua Treadmill provides a safe, controlled environment to help them move and strengthen correctly.
If you'd like to know whether it could benefit your horse, feel free to comment below or send us a DM. We're always happy to chat through your horse's individual situation and explain how we might be able to help.
π¦ No two horses move the same, so no two treadmill sessions should be the same. Every horse that comes through our doors is assessed individually, and each session is tailored to suit their specific needs and goals. π¦
