Stabby here is the head of my herd and her daughter is definitely the second in command.

How Goat Social Structure Works

Female-led herds: A dominant female (often the oldest and most experienced doe like Stabby) guides the herd to food and water, teaches young goats life skills, and helps protect the group.

Rank by lineage: (Like Stabby's daughter Milk) Daughters of the matriarch typically rank just below her in the herd's social order.

Clear hierarchy: Every goat in the herd has a defined rank determined by age, size, horns, and temperament, with the matriarch holding the highest position and getting first choice of resources.

Maybe Boots needs a career to set him on the right path 🤔.

If there was an animal that did more miles than Rodney Sansom did on foot, it is this little trooper, Timmy the miniature goat and his little firewood buggy. He was such a good natured little fellow. Every household with a fire needs one of these to bring the kindling in. 😍🔥🔥

A quick before and after from a recent backyard job at Wyoming where the goats and sheep annihilated this grass, privet and honeysuckle infestation now it's stripped back and the home owners can organise their yard how they wish.

For this yard we also supplied fencing to secure two sides of the yard.

The only goat who babysits the lambs without trying to harm them.

At this rate Janice will be winning baby sitter of the year.
