Every search is an opportunity to learn more about our dogs, strengthen our teamwork, and appreciate just how amazing their noses really are.

Just look at that proud face! 😍 Roy and his handler Kayla have officially completed their Introduction to Scentwork Course! 🎓🐶

It’s been wonderful watching this team build their skills, confidence and understanding of scentwork along the way. From those first sniffs to purposeful searching, every little step is part of the journey.

Thank you Urban Canines for hosting me this weekend. Had awesome fun watching teams learning new things about their dogs!

Of course puppy cuddles were a must with a 9 week old puppy. Winter enjoyed greeting new dogs and humans alike. Thank you to those who played, walked and even just said hello to him it was very much appreciated.

I love watching dogs grow and develop into hunting monsters...however what really makes me 'cry' with happiness (and comes from own personal experiences) is when I receive these types of messages. Yes I started to cry (alittle) - because to be honest I have been here - and some days I still am given the right circumstances.

This reminders me 'why' noseworks/scentwork became a 'thing' it shows how good it is for dogs and their humans to be able to enjoy something together.

This is from a recent graduate from my Introduction Course.

"Thanks for the last 4 weeks Liz! Melody has really enjoyed the scent work training class and it’s such a great class that you run especially in my opinion as someone who has a dog reactive dog it’s good to be able to take her to an activity for her to do and not be worried about her being reactive in your classes. We can’t wait to do future odour classes with you and get the other two dogs into it too!"
