A little thanks from us! 🐾

Running a small business is made up of so many moments that happen behind the scenes and so much of what allows us to keep doing what we love comes down to you! ✨

Every booking. Every recommendation. Every review. Every time you engage with our posts. Every message you share regarding your dog's progress.

We understand there are financial pressures for all of us right now, which is what makes choosing to support a small business like ours even more meaningful. 💛

Whether you've trusted us with your new puppy, worked with us on a long-term behaviour journey, recommended us to a friend or simply engaged with our posts - thank you! 🥹

A little Bruno update 💕

Some of you may have seen a post we shared about Bruno earlier this year after sharing his story. I first met Bruno in early 2025 and sometimes I have to remind myself that he’s actually the very same dog I met back then, just a happier and more relaxed version of his former self! 🥹

I am beyond proud of what we achieved today after all of the hard work and patience that has gone into this case.

Today Bruno was able to cope with:
✅ Visitor to the home
✅ OFF LEAD dog on our walk that was thankfully recalled from around 10 metres away
✅ a man in his yard
✅ multiple cars and a van driving past
✅ a dog barking behind their wire fence at only ~5 metres away 👏👏

Bruno took it all in his stride and was able to move through them without reacting. There were moments where he was understandably stressed but he trusted that we would keep him safe.

He was rewarded well for his efforts and it was a beautiful moment seeing how much he was enjoying being out with us and doing his favourite thing - sniffing! 🍃

We allowed Bruno to lead the way and allowed him to choose which way he wanted to walk - and thankfully the route he chose was an appropriate one 😂

Bruno is a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved without the use of fear and force, and what a dedicated management and behaviour modification plan can achieve over time. 💕

Thanks to FOMDAC for inviting me to give a presentation on snake safety for dog owners 🙌

Things I DON'T care about as a dog trainer... 🤔
Why? Because none of those things tell me whether a dog is coping, feeling safe or living a good quality of life.
As a behaviour consultant and dog trainer, I'm much more interested in welfare than perfection. Behaviour is communication, and my job is to help dogs and their humans understand each other better, not create robots. I also want to squash common dog behaviour myths!
