Rainy days might be cosy for us, but they can bring a few extra challenges for our furry friends! Here are some simple ways to keep your pets happy, healthy and safe during the wet weather.

🐾 1. KEEP THEM WARM AND DRY! 🛁
Dry your pets thoroughly after walks, especially their paws, tummy and ears. Give them a warm, cosy bed away from damp areas so they can relax in comfort.

🐾 2. MAKE INDOOR TIME FUN! 🎾
Keep boredom at bay with puzzle toys, gentle play, training games and plenty of cuddles when the weather keeps you inside!

🐾 3. WATCH OUT ON WALKS! 🐕‍🦺
Avoid flooded areas, fast-flowing water and slippery surfaces. Keep your dog on a lead near drains and waterways, and never let them drink floodwater.

🐾 4. KEEP YOUR CATS SAFE! 🐈
Wet weather can make roads dangerous and hide potential hazards. Provide your feline friends with a warm hiding spot, fresh water, a clean litter tray and somewhere cosy to snooze.

With warmer weather fast approaching, it’s important to take a few extra steps to keep your pets comfortable,safe,and happy. As temperatures rise,pets can be more susceptible to heat stress, dehydration, and sun exposure.

☀️ Keep Them Hydrated
Always ensure your pet has access to fresh, clean water throughout the day.Consider placing multiple water bowls around your home and yard, especially during hot weather.

🌳 Provide Plenty of Shade
If your pet spends time outdoors,make sure they have access to shaded areas where they can escape the heat. Trees,covered patios,and shelters can all provide relief from the sun.

🚶Exercise During Cooler Parts of the Day.
Walk dogs in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are lower.
