Here are some fun facts about these adorable little characters:

🐾 1. Pugs have been around for a LONG time!
Pugs have an ancient history and were treasured as companion dogs by Chinese emperors and their families.

👑 2. They were bred to be companions
Unlike many working breeds, Pugs were primarily bred to keep people company — and they’re pretty good at it! 🥰

🌀 3. That curly tail is a signature feature!
A tightly curled tail is one of the Pug’s most recognisable characteristics. Some even have a beautiful double curl!

😂 4. They have HUGE personalities!
Pugs are often playful, cheeky and affectionate. Their funny expressions can make it very hard to stay serious around them!

Pugs are generally very people-oriented and often want to be right beside their favourite person — or sitting ON them! 😂

Poodles are known for being clever, quick learners and eager to please. They often love learning tricks and new skills!

💦 3. They were originally water dogs!
Despite their glamorous appearance, Poodles were originally bred as water retrievers. Their name is linked to the German word Pudel, associated with splashing in water. 🦆💦
