Great to get a metropolitan win at Sandown with well bred New Zealand mare House Of Lords who was given a great patient ride by in form jockey Craig Newitt.

Going into the race, the team felt she was there to run a massive race, with the barrier being the biggest concern drawing out wide however luck in running and a solid tempo set the race up and she showcased her exciting turn of foot to blend in at the 250m mark and put the race away with a bit of authority.

Congratulations to Steve & Paul Moss along with there families who have been long staunch supporters of the stable and it’s always a great thrill to be winning city races for them!

House Of Lords will now be targeted towards 2000m races and beyond and hopefully some black type beckons for the lightly raced daughter of Almanzor who is building a very nice CV in Australia.

Great to see Snakeinthegrass break her maiden today on Stony Creek Cup day.

It was a great ride by in form jockey Craig Newitt getting Snakeinthegrass to the right part of the track and motoring home strong to the line to get the victory after a luckless 5th at her debut at the same track & distance.

A massive congratulations to owner Mr Stephen Spiteri who has been patient with the daughter of Written By and has given the team free rein to be patient and it was rewarded with a great victory today.

A massive congratulations to all the staff back home who have worked closely with Snakeinthegrass which has helped her develop, the stable will decide whether she has another run or is turned out to mature in the coming weeks.

On the back of quality C**t Wetumpka winning his Maiden at Sale the stable has snapped up a beauty in Lot 167 at The Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale - ALABAMA EXPRESS-LILLIS C**T - INGLIS RACE SERIES QUALIFIED/SUPER VOBIS QUALIFIED.

A quality moving yearling our team had to fight off some healthy competition from the big players to secure this outstanding mover and specimen to land him for $300,000.

This C**t will be heading straight to commence his education program and will be set for all the feature early races and looks a likely type with plenty of strength about him.

Plenty of early interest in him with shares taken immediately and the stable can't wait to get him into the training system into the future.

Quality 3yo C**t Wetumpka saluted in fine style winning his maiden at Sale in a tricky small field on heavy ground ridden perfectly by Ben Allen.

Having just his 6th start Wetumpka showed his class holding off a small field to break his maiden after having some of the best form lines around him and giving his patient connections a huge thrill.

Wetumpka has now built an impressive CV and is destined for greater things into the future.
