Dogs and their noses πŸ‘ƒ

Two days ago I found out I have blood clots in my leg, I’m a week and a bit out from a c section and today I went outside to spend some time with the dogs (limited to what I can do due to recovery and being in pain) however this boy didn’t want to play, he just wanted to sit right next to me and constantly sniff the leg that has the clots in it. My old soul dog did the exact same with my dad before he died only to find out his leg also had blood clots.

Will never cease to amaze me what a dog can smell, he also probably knew I had them before I even did οΏΌ

The moment he has been waiting for πŸ₯Ή meeting the baby he would nose bump in my belly. Gentle, calm and placid, he knew straight away mum and baby were vulnerable and needed to gentle with us. Can’t wait to watch their bond form as baby girl grows πŸ©·πŸ–€

I absolutely love updates from all our puppies but this one right here has to be one of my favourites πŸ₯Ή our littlest girl of the 9 born, now known as pixie, fighting for her life from the day she was born. Born at a tiny 415g while the rest were well over 500g-700g. Hand raised and bottle fed when she was just 2 days old, almost losing her at 9 days old, and a few more times after that. But each time she beat the odds and pulled through! A big peace of my heart belongs to this girl. This little warrior has stayed local to us, and just look at her now! Absolutely thriving and beautiful as ever 😍
