WOW! 2 YEARS! 🥹❤️

Two years ago, I took a leap and started my own little grooming business, and what an incredible journey it has been!

From the very first dog that walked through my doors to the hundreds of wagging tails, wet noses, slobbery kisses and mountains of dog hair since, I wouldn't change a thing! 🐶✂️

Running a small business isn't always easy. There have been plenty of challenges, long days, sore backs, and moments where I've questioned my sanity 😂 But there have also been so many amazing moments that make it all worthwhile.

I've had the privilege of watching puppies grow into adults, building beautiful relationships with my regular clients, and getting to know so many wonderful dogs and their families.

To every single person who has supported Mid North Dog Grooming over the past two years, THANK YOU! ❤️

🐾 Brachy breeds need a little extra care! 🐾

At Mid North Dog Grooming, we specialise in brachycephalic breeds like French Bulldogs, Pugs, Bulldogs and other gorgeous squishy faced pups. 🐶
We understand that grooming these breeds isn't quite the same as grooming your average dog, especially when it comes to their faces.
During their groom, we take extra care to avoid soaking the face or getting water around the nose and airways. Instead, we gently clean around the face, eyes and those adorable wrinkles and folds using wipes, making sure we get into the areas where dirt, moisture and grime can build up.
We also give their ears a thorough clean and make sure the whole grooming experience is kept as calm, comfortable and stress free as possible.
Having owned and worked with brachy breeds extensively, we understand their quirks, their breathing considerations and just how much care those squishy little faces need. ❤️

These two gorgeous Frenchies were in for their pamper today, double the wrinkles, double the cuteness! 🥰🐾

Unfortunately, with my shoulder injury I’m currently unable to groom, which also means no grooming income while I recover. Looks like I'm completely out of action for a few days! 😭

Unfortunately, I managed to injure my shoulder today after a dog crate decided to go to war with me… and I can confirm, the crate won. 🤦‍♀️

I’m currently in quite a lot of pain and have limited movement, so for the time being I’ll need to take things day by day and see how my shoulder holds up.
I’m hoping to continue with appointments where I can, however larger dogs and dogs that are difficult to handle may need to be rescheduled, as I simply don’t want to risk making the injury worse or compromising anyone’s safety.
I’ll be contacting anyone affected as needed. Please bear with me if I need to make some last minute changes while I work out what I can comfortably manage.
