Did you know that muzzle's can be used for so many different things! 🫨

Not only are they used for reactive dogs but they can also be used for those dogs who like to eat random items on walks. 🐕‍🦺

Some people may also use a muzzle for extra reassurance for those dogs who feel a little nervous when going to see their vet.

There are various different types of muzzles that you can get, each one suited for its own purpose. If you are unsure of what muzzle you may need feel free to ask or send me a pm.

Remeber to correctly condition your dog to a muzzle before placing one on their face for long periods of time, if you would like help in muzzle training please feel free to reach out and contact me!

We've had a few new followers here recently so I thought, what a great time to introduce myself!

Hello! My name is Mikaela.
I'm 23, I have a lovely German Shepherd and Kelpie.

I have a strong passion to help those who are seeking a friendly face to help them with their adorable fur babies, as well as helping the dogs who struggle with learning from differences in their training.

I focus on creating a positive relationship between owner and dog which will help them through the training process, while following the positive reinforcement approach.

My passion for all things dog related runs deep to working sheep with my Kelpie or reactivity work with my German Shepherd, I have a Cert IV in Animal Behaviour and Training Cert II in Animal Studies and am an IMDT accredited trainer.

It has taken me a very long time to figure out exactly what I wanted to do with my passion and here it is Dog Training, I have owned dogs my whole life and would never live a day without one by my side!

Ace was the name of one of my dogs who sadly passed away at 6 months old but he showed me what I could do and he sparked the passion again within me after so many years.

Are you training your dog and finding that they are not food motivated?🐾

Well I’m here to help! Did you know that there are other reinforcement’s that can be used instead of treats?

Let’s name one of them now! 🥏Toys! Not only are they fun to play with for your dog’s but they can also be very rewarding even more then treats. Some dog’s find it hard to ingest food when they are in stressful situations and some may not be food motivated enough to want to be rewarded with a treat.

When rewarding with a toy it helps provide some mental stimulation as well as being able to release some of their stress by using their mouth to bite down on a toy, just be sure to only use the specific reward toy for training only! This helps keep you’re pup interested with the toy and more susceptible when wanting to learn with you.🐶

We focus on positive reinforcement training being force free, as well as having a positive relationship with your dog.

Some services we offer:

✅️ Walk & Train (Time depends on the dog so we don't overwork their brain)

✅️ 1:1 Walk & Train (We will join you on a walk)

✅️ 1:1 Training (We come to you)

✅️ Enrichment Visits (Providing mental and physical stimulation)

✅️ Basic Manners Training

We are working on more services which may include online information sessions for those who may not be able to be there in person and custom dog leads!
