Hi everyone!

Our rescue kittens headed off to their new homes at the beginning of August. We’ve had 12 pet-sitting jobs throughout the month, two gorgeous cats boarding with us, and even a few days when we’ve had four jobs on at once! And, as if that wasn’t enough, we’ve just welcomed our newest rescue into our care. All in the love for the animals though, of course.

A friendly reminder that we have plenty of availability for the next two months, but with some dates booking up fast. We will be unavailable September 11th-14th and have limited availability October 11th, 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th.

We’ve had updates from our last two adopted kittens and we’re happy to report that they’ve settled into their new homes really well! Our new little one came to us at 24-48 hours old, so please keep your fingers crossed for him during this fragile time of his short life.

Love from Jaz, Amelia and the new little guy. xoxo

*AVAILABILITY UPDATE*

Hi there!

It is so crazy to think we’re having to update our availability twice in one month; we’re so grateful for everyone’s trust in us with their pets! We’ve booked 12 jobs in August already, with some days reaching 4 jobs a day!

Here is our updated unavailability for August, September, October, November and December:
- Our boarding room is unavailable until August 26th, but otherwise free until mid- November.
For visits:
- August 15th (PM), 16th (PM), 22nd and 23rd
- September 11th (PM), 12th, 13th and 14th (AM)
- October 24th (PM), 25th, 26th, and 27th *These October dates may be more flexible closer to the time. We can pencil you in in the short term and confirm later on* 😊

We are currently only booking up until mid-November due to our own travel plans. We are currently looking at having our pet sitter take over our jobs from mid-November to January. We’re happy to pencil you in tentatively in the hopes that we find someone we trust with our pets and our clients’.

Thanks again, everyone. We love doing what we do and we’re so grateful for your support.

Love from Jaz & Amelia xoxo

Hi friends!

In very exciting news, both our kittens went to their new homes yesterday. We truly feel they have found their perfect families and we couldn’t be happier!

In terms of our recently announced unavailability, we need to add a couple more dates to the list for September and add some back for August. We are available August 7th, 8th and 9th and unavailable September 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th.

Thanks everyone!

* EXCITING NEWS!!! *

Hi everyone!

You know how we've been hyping up some big news recently? Well, here it is! Over the past two months, we have been quietly working on founding our very own pet rescue. As most of you will know, we have been foster carers for over 8 years and have cared for more than 400 pets within that period. Additionally, we have rescued at least 56 domestic animals from veterinary hospitals and clinics ourselves since 2018, so we figured, why not start our own rescue?

Focusing on continuing to bridge the gap between councils, larger rescues, and veterinary clinics and hospitals, our aim is to be the "middle women" for the pets finding themselves ownerless and vulnerable in a veterinary setting. For more information, please read our mission statement here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/groups/12383

Undecided on a name, but wanting to get the ball rolling with two neonate kittens in our care, we landed on the very original POOPER SCOOPERS PET RESCUE. Although we may have our paperwork and advertising platform in order, we haven't yet finished our branding, but we didn't want this to hold us back from sharing our two babies with you all now that they're ready for adoption.

So, without further ado, we'd like to introduce you to our two 11-week-old little cuties. With a rough start to life on a property with too many cats, they found their way to us when a caring member of the public handed them into an emergency vet hospital, who then asked us to take them on. Separated from mum too young, we fed and toileted them until they were old enough to be taught to do it themselves. They have since been microchipped, steralised, vaccinated and regularly treated for parasites. They're playful, confident, love the company of other cats and adore playing with kids.

As proud as we are of ourselves for making this happen, we know it wouldn't have been possible without the support of our PSPC clients, local community, and our veterinary industry colleagues across Perth. We'd also like to give a special thanks to Dr Rajpreet Kaur for coming on board as PSPR's primary care veterinarian.

Again, we're so excited to share this with our local and PSPC community and thank you all for your support of our little business over the past 3 years.

Love from Jaz & Amelia xoxo

Hi friends!

We just wanted to pop in to say hello and give you a quick update on our availability.

We’re currently taking bookings through to the second week of November. However, we’re now fully booked for August 7th, 8th, and 9th, so we’re unfortunately unable to accept any more bookings for those dates.

Being busy enough to share an update like this is something we don’t take for granted. We appreciate the ongoing support of our clients and thank you all for keeping our little business afloat.

Please enjoy photos of some of our friends from July so far, and stay tuned for a cute and exciting update very soon!

Love Jaz & Amelia xoxo

Hello everyone!

We're back to share some more exciting updates. With the 3-year anniversary of Pooper Scoopers Pet Care just 10 days away, we've had a number of things in the works.

Firstly, our boarding space has had a complete makeover. As this room also serves as our study and sleepover space, it isn't designed to be the perfect pet area, but it does look completely different from how our clients may remember it, and we are loving our new space. Credit goes to Amelia for this one. Our very own Super-woman and Jane-of-all-trades built two IKEA loft beds with built in desks, wardrobes and drawers all by herself.

Secondly, thanks to feedback from one of our newer clients, we've finally digitised our New Client Forms. We can still provide paper forms for clients who prefer them. Credit goes to Jaz for this one, which is wild since she self-identifies as technologically inept. (Please let us know if you have any issues with them!)

Finally, a quick update on our availability. We will be taking our usual June trip for Amelia's birthday and our anniversary from 26 June to 3 July. Please be patient with us while we take some time off for ourselves but do message us with "URGENT" if you find yourself in a pet pickle. We are still booking jobs up until November 20th, 2026.

Please enjoy cute photos of some our friends from the past month and a half; Dexter, Molly, Delsey, Wes, Joanna, Minka, Rufus, Teddy, and Missy
Stay tuned for our next update
Team PSPC xoxo

Hi everyone!

We are here to share one of our exciting updates mentioned in our last post.

Our clients are likely familiar with the image of Amelia getting to and from our pet-sitting jobs on her bike; her main mode of transport and an important part of our livelihoods. Those of you who are also local to Maylands will know of the bicycle theft problem that has plagued our suburb for the last couple of years.

With a tiny, awkwardly angled house, Amelia had no choice but to lock her bike up in our carport each night, which ultimately led to three of hers being stolen over 18 months. Her best bike yet was stolen in June last year and, with the uncertainty of our housing situation and consequently having to take on fewer jobs, it was unfortunately an acquisition that had to go on the back burner.

Flash forward to 10 months later. We decided to do our best to shuffle our lounge room around to try to safely house a new bicycle inside. After much planning, we found success, and so Amelia set out to find her perfect bike. We visited many bike shops, did lots of research and started to replace all the little things that were stolen with her last one; a helmet, lights, a bell, a seat cover…

Wanting to support local, we walked into Maylands’ own Speedlite Cycles. The gentlemen there allowed Amelia a test ride of a best-seller, and she fell in love. Understanding that this would be her very first brand-new bicycle after years of riding secondhand bikes not quite fit for her, they began customising it to meet her needs with adjustments and attachments.

We picked up her new bike, which she has affectionately named “Dusty Duck” last week, and the staff seemed almost as excited for her as we were. She rode it from Speedlite Cycles to two client key handovers and arrived home a very happy lady.

We’re so grateful to our clients who have supported us recently, allowing us to get Amelia back on the road in such a special way, and we’re also grateful to the team at Speedlite Cycles for their patience, help and expertise. Their knowledge and service helped us to feel confident in our big purchase and we’re glad to have found a team we can trust with Dusty Duck’s care ongoing. Consequently, we can now take on more jobs per day, regardless of distance, and Amelia has her freedom back.

Jaz & Amelia xoxo

Hello friends and neighbours!

We hope you're all keeping warm as we transition into cooler weather.

A little update from us:
- We have opened our availability until the end of November
- We have the capacity to take on new clients
- We will be unavailable from June 26th until July 2nd
- Due to the noticeable rise in living costs, we will be revising our pricing ready for the new financial year (although not drastically!)

We have some exciting things in the works that will allow us to take on more jobs and help us stay better organised.

Stay tuned for our next update!

3 months ago, on our way to a petsitting job, we found a stray rabbit on the verge. We brought her home with us, got her healthy again and called her Vera. We then began her vet work and put her under the care of the wonderful Under the Willow Tree Rescue Inc. as our official foster rabbit.

Since her vet decided she was around 9 months old when we picked her up, today marks her “1st Birthday”. Naturally, we threw her a birthday party, as we would for our own. A big thankyou to PyonPyon Bunny Treats for helping us make her day special. Vera approves of her forage box, treats and sea grass and highly recommends PyonPyon to all rabbits and their owners.

Vera has loved us, taught us and tested us, and we’re so grateful to have had the experience of caring for her.

If you’re looking for a great beginner rabbit, you know where to find us. And please, if you can spare even a little, click the link above and help us to support Under the Willow Tree and all of the amazing work that they do.

* AVAILABILITY UPDATE*

Hi friends!

Long time no post! Firstly, thankyou to all of our wonderful clients who kept us so busy over Summer. Since then, Jaz has been settling into two new jobs and the university semester, whilst Amelia has been handling most of our petsitting work.

As for a booking update, we still have availability over Easter and the April school holiday period and we’re currently booking jobs through till July. 😊

Don’t forget to keep your pets indoors this weekend. We hope everyone stays safe and dry and we look forward to hearing from some of you soon!

Jaz and Amelia xoxo (and Tosca in his cyclone boots and Easter collar). 😜
