A little update from me ❤️🐾
I just wanted to give everyone a little update, especially those who are booked in with me this week.
Just over a week ago I was bitten by a dog and unfortunately the injury ended up requiring a trip to hospital. I thought I was on the mend, but unfortunately I had to return to hospital just two days ago after developing an infection, and I’m now waiting to undergo surgery.
It’s been a pretty unexpected and stressful couple of weeks, and definitely not something I ever thought I’d be dealing with. It’s also been a bit of a reminder of just how serious a dog bite can be, even when you initially think the injury isn’t too bad.
At this stage, I’m not sure exactly how the next few days are going to look. I may need to reschedule some appointments this week, but I’m waiting to see what happens with surgery and my recovery before making any decisions.
For everyone who is currently booked in this week/ last weekk, please don’t worry — I will keep you updated as things progress and will contact you personally if your appointment needs to be changed.
I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I absolutely hate having to let my clients down, especially when I know how much you all look forward to getting your pups pampered. 🥺❤️
