Look who came in for their vaccines today 😍 🥰
After battling the Panleukopenia Virus both Calico and Ginger were back today for their check up and to start their vaccine regime.

Everyone was so excited and happy to see these amazing little survivors, it definitely brought some happy tears 🥹

This cool kid is Whiskey and he lost some street cred and swagger today after the removal of his testicles.

In true Chi Chi fashion Whiskey was more than happy to tell us how he felt about being at the vet and topped it off with displaying his land shark 🦈 nature.

Dad had to collect him from his bed this arvo since Whiskey was too cool to be picked up by the nurses any longer.

We are going to work closely with Whiskey's owners to desensitise him to the vet clinic and turn this land shark into a happy puppy.

Sweet Niu attended the clinic today for a health check and vaccination. We took a small amount of blood and tested him for FIV and unfortunately it came back negative.
Niu then recieved his microchip, as seen in the video and his F3 core vaccine, seen in the next post.
Niu was another sweet kitty who thrived today with fear free handling and some yummy Churu.

In addition to the FREE service we are so happy to provided kitten and puppy packs, full of vital information brochures, protocols for vaccine, flea tick and worming and so much more. We provide samples of superpremium food, treats, toys and revolution plus and simparica trio samples to get you started.

Mister April (to be renamed by his sister tonight) joined us after selecting his furever family this week. He was healthy and happy but did have a bit of an eye infection. With the go ahead from the vet Krystle dispensed some medication and got him started on his flea tick and worming products.
We can't wait to see him again 💙

😸🥰 Fear Free done right 🥰😺

Dior's FIV test returned a negative result so we started her FIV regime today alone with her F3 given beforehand.

Here you can see how beautifully Fear free practices in a vet clinic can work.

Dior displayed no signs of stress and had a very positive first vet visit. She will continue to have Fear Free visits as per our clinics policies and passion with this approach to animal care.

We cannot wait to see her for her next visit.

Meet Dior, the sweet and spicy kitten who joined us today for her first kitten vaccinations.

We needed a tiny blood sample to test her for FIV before starting her FIV Vaccine regime.
She was happy to yell at us around her churu making her thoughts on the matter very clear. But, alas, the cat crack won out.

Did you know we offer cat grooming at OurVet Lidcombe

We know how scary it can be for our feline friends at the groomers and offer our fear free approach to reduce anxiety and fear in our feline friends.

No longer do they need to listen to dogs barking awaiting their turn.
We currently offer grooming Monday-Friday with morning drop offs and pick ups as late as 5:30pm.

Our current prices and services consistent of:

Bath and blow dry (short hair) $70
Bath and blow dry (long hair and double coat, including British Shorthairs) $90
Nail Trim $27
Ear clean $35

Sedated grooms (lion clips are usually recommended during this service) starting from $370
