Welcome back to the salon, Miss Maya!! ❤️🫶🐾🫧

Beautiful Miss Maya is such a nervous little girl, but she is just the calmest soul. She has a way of completely freezing in time while I work my magic 😂🥹❤️

Today Miss Maya enjoyed a lovely de shed pamper, helping to remove that loose undercoat and leave her gorgeous coat feeling fresh, clean and beautifully soft! 🐾✨

For her bath, I used Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Refresh Shampoo & Conditioner 🫧🌿 helping to loosen and release the shedding coat while gently cleansing and conditioning, leaving her coat feeling fresh, soft and beautifully cared for. ❤️🐾

Once her pamper is all finished, you can see just how happy and proud she is of herself! ✨ She knows she’s looking absolutely gorgeous and is ready to head home and show off that stunning coat to her family! 🥰🐾❤️

Welcome back to the salon, Mr Luca!! 🐾🫧❤️

Sweet Mr Luca is such a nervous boy when it comes to the clippers and scissors, but he is making such beautiful progress and I’m so happy to be a part of his grooming journey! 🥹🫶🐾

Well done today, Mr Luca! You were such a good boy for your pamper! 🎉🫧 You still weren’t quite sure about having your legs or feet clippered, and your nails definitely weren’t on your favourite things list 😂🐾 but we made some beautiful progress today!

I managed to get your nails done and you even let me shave out your paw pads, with only two little moments of uncertainty before you decided to trust me and allowed me to finish. 🥹❤️

Well done, Luca, for trusting me and trusting the process. Every little step forward is such a big achievement, and I’m so proud of you! 🐾🫶✨

Mum wanted Mr Luca nice and short today, so that’s exactly what we did! ✂️🐾❤️ I didn’t even get a chance to take a before photo, but just look at you now! 🥰 You look like the cutest little baby bunny! 🐰🐾 Honestly, you are just too adorable!

Little Miss Molly is just the sweetest little lady, and she absolutely adores her pampers! 🥰🐾✨

Her lovely Mum & Dad have done such a wonderful job from an early age getting Molly comfortable and desensitised to all the different sounds and sensations that come with grooming, including those noisy clippers. ✂️🐾 It really does make such a beautiful difference when puppies are introduced to grooming experiences gradually and positively from a young age. 💕✨

Mr Monty is making such beautiful progress with his regular pampers, and it really is the best to see! 🥰🫧 He’s becoming more confident with each visit and is growing into such a beautiful boy. And today, he got himself a big boy tie because this handsome fella means business! 🎀😎🐾

Mr Monty still has plenty of growing left to do, but he’s already turning into such a gorgeous big boy! 💙

Today, Monty enjoyed a lovely warm wash using Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Refresh Shampoo & Conditioner 🫧🌿✨

🐾💓 Welcome back to the salon, Mr Snoopy! 💓🐾

Mr Snoopy is the sweetest boy and one I absolutely adore! 🥹💗 He has the most beautiful nature, with plenty of energy to keep me on my toes! 🐾

Today Snoopy just wasn’t comfortable with the clippers or scissors. I worked with him, tried different techniques and gave him the time and space he needed, but he simply wasn’t comfortable enough for me to safely continue with his full groom.

And that is perfectly okay. 🐾❤️

As a groomer, I have to be able to adapt to the dog in front of me. Some appointments go exactly to plan, while others require me to change direction and focus on what my client is comfortable with on that particular day.

There is never a need to complete a groom at the expense of safety or comfort. If I have tried everything I reasonably can and my client is still uncomfortable, sometimes the best professional decision I can make is to finish the appointment there.

Snoopy still had a lovely warm hydrobath and was treated to Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Relax Shampoo & Conditioner to gently cleanse and soften his coat and skin. 🫧✨

He may not have had his full groom completed today, but he had a safe and positive salon experience, and that is just as important. 💓🐾

These beautiful boys are so special, and I absolutely love pampering you both! Your beautiful eyes and gorgeous natures make your regular visits so lovely. 🥰🐾✨

Macky absolutely soaks up his pampers! He’s always a little hesitant getting into the bath, but once he’s in, he settles and loves every minute. Being a senior doggo, I always take a little extra time and care with Macky, making sure he’s comfortable and relaxed throughout his pamper. 🫧🐾❤️

Today I used the Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Refresh Shampoo & Conditioner on Macky to help cleanse, refresh and loosen any shedding coat. 🌿🫧

Stormy has also come such a long way on his salon journey! At first, he wasn’t the biggest fan of his pampers, but watching him grow in confidence and learn to love them has been so rewarding for us all! 🙏🐾✨

A big warm welcome to the My Local Dog Wash & Grooming Salon Family, handsome Hunter! 🥰🐾✨

Hunter came in today for a De Shed Pamper and a little spruce up, and WOW… did this big boy have some FLOOF to let loose! 😂🐾

For Hunter’s pamper, I used the Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Refresh Shampoo & Conditioner 🫧🌿 This helps loosen the shedding undercoat, which is then gently worked out through the drying and brushing process, removing all that loose coat while keeping his beautiful topcoat intact. ✨🐾

And OMG… I could have made a couple more Hunters from all that amazing undercoat! 🤣🐾

I absolutely LOVE a good de shed pamper. Watching all that loose coat come out is SO satisfying and rewarding! 😍🐾✨

This gorgeous German Shepherd absolutely adores her pampers! She loves her Mumma and definitely lets me know with her little Shepherd whistles when Mumma heads off, but once she settles in, she relaxes and enjoys every second of her pamper like the beautiful girl she is. 💕🐾

Today I gave Miss Stevie a lovely de shed and wow, did she have some hair to let loose! 😆🐾 There was plenty of beautiful fluffy undercoat ready to come out, leaving her coat feeling lighter, fresh and lovely and clean.

The Refresh range helps loosen and release the undercoat while gently cleansing and conditioning the coat. It was so lovely having this handsome boy back in the salon! Mr Bowie has recently had some surgery, so it was extra special seeing his happy, goofy self ready for his pamper. 💞🐾

His Mumma wanted Mr Bowie to have a nice short shave this time around as his thick coat was starting to make him feel a little warm. While we waited for his Mumma to arrive, Bowie had plenty of time to be his hilarious self! A little run around, followed by the funniest starfish stretch and then straight down for a big relaxed lay down. Hahaha! 🤣 What a character!
