The Great Nundle Dog Race 2026 may be over, but we're still smiling at the memories made, the laughs shared, and the wonderful community that came together to celebrate another unforgettable day.

BARKING SUCCESS
That’s a wrap on The Great Nundle Dog Race 2026… and what a day.

From first runs to the final dash, it delivered exactly what we promised: speed, chaos, and a strong argument that dogs are in charge and we’re just along for the ride.

A huge thank you to our sponsors for backing the day, our incredible volunteers and emcees for keeping it all moving, and of course the real VIPs - the dogs who dragged their parents along and absolutely stole the show.

Events like this don’t happen without community, and every bit of support today goes straight back to Nundle Public School.

AMAZING DOOGY DAY!
Nundle Dog Race 2026 and things have escalated.

We’ve seen record-breaking zoomies, at least three dogs forget why they were running, and one very confident dachshund take on a jump meant for a horse.

If you’re here, you already know it’s chaos in the best way. If you’re not… you’ve still got time.

Don’t forget the raffle draw coming up (yes, this is your sign to grab a ticket and back yourself).

Huge shoutout to our emcees keeping things rolling and our volunteers who are somehow making this look organised.

Still plenty to come… including the grand final at 3pm. Anything could happen. Probably will.

OFF AND DASHING
The Great Nundle Dog Race 2026 is off and racing… and it’s less “elite sport” and more “beautiful chaos with doggy smiles.”

Plus market stalls, food stalls, and the P&C canteen keeping everyone well fed while the dogs do their thing.

Bring your mates, your sense of humour, and your fur baby if they’re brave enough.

🐾🐾Fossickers Tourist Park and Hills of Gold Motel at Nundle are very generously donating accommodation vouchers for our Auction & Raffle🐾🐾Be sure to get your raffle tickets on the day!! $2 per ticket, sold at all entry gates, hot dog stand, merch tent and our volunteers will be doing the rounds!! Auction is on 11:15am. Raffle drawn at 2:30pm. See you all TOMORROW-SUNDAY MAY 3rd🐶🐶
