Leo’s little pamper session! 💙🐾

This little cuttie Leo was in for a little bit of everything today! 🙂🐾

We started with a hygiene shave around the areas where dirt and little matts can build up, including around his eyes, chin, sanitary area and between his paw pads. This helps keep him lovely and clean, comfortable and free from those pesky tangles! 🐶✂️

Next up was a nail clip followed by a little dental care! 🦷✨
Leo had some early tartar beginning to develop alongside the first signs of gum inflammation (gingivitis). We gently removed the tartar to help support his dental health and keep those gorgeous teeth white and fresh, while helping to protect his teeth and gums from further problems 😁

Leo was an absolute superstar throughout his visit and never put up a fuss… especially when there were plenty of tasty treats on offer! 😆🦴

Another happy boy leaving feeling fresh, fabulous and thoroughly pampered! 🥰🐾

🐾💙 Juno's first visit to Furry Friends! 💙🐾

The cutest wee man Juno came along for his very first visit, and what a little star he was! 🥹❣️ Although Juno can be a nervous boy, he did absolutely brilliantly and we made sure to take things at his pace to keep everything as calm and positive as possible. 🐶✨

We managed to get all his nails clipped with zero stress and he even let us have a little look at his teeth and gently remove some tartar that had started to build up! 🦷🪥

Regular dental maintenance between his anaesthetic dentals is a great way to help keep on top of plaque and tartar build-up, support healthy teeth and gums, and hopefully help reduce the need for extractions in the future.

For Juno we decided the best approach was to split his dental maintenance into shorter, separate sessions helping ensure each visit remains a positive experience. 🥰🐾

We are so proud of this lovely boy. Can you believe he is nearly 16yo?! Still the cutest wee puppy face 🥹

At Furry Friends Nurse Clinic, it's all about working at your pet's pace, celebrating the little wins and creating pawsitive experiences. 🩷🐾

🐾🏡💙Max’s home visit 💙🏡🐾

This beautiful boy Max is a very nervous boy, so a home visit was the perfect option for him. Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is bring their care to them where they feel happiest and safest. ❣️

Being in his own home made such a difference to Max. Surrounded by his favourite toys, yummy treats and of course lots of attention. We could take everything slowly and work completely at his pace. 🥰🐾

There was no rushing and no pressure — just plenty of patience, reassurance and little positive moments along the way. ❣️

It was so lovely to see Max relax and become more comfortable throughout his visit. By keeping things calm and familiar, we were able to turn something that could have been very stressful into a really pawsitive experience for both Max and his owner. 🐾✨

Sometimes, those little changes can make the biggest difference. 💕🏡

Home visits are available for dogs or cats who may find visiting the clinic stressful, helping them receive their care in the comfort of their own home 🙂🐾

🦷🐾 Handsome boy Tucker’s dental visit! 🐾🦷

This beautiful boy came in for a dental check as his owners had noticed some tartar starting to build up. 💙

There was quite a bit of plaque developing, but the good news is his owners are keen to address it and to do everything they can to keep Tucker’s teeth and gums as healthy as possible. 🦷✨

Tucker wasn’t a huge fan of having his mouth examined and worked on today, so rather than making things stressful for him, we’ve put together a personalised dental care plan to suit him. 🐶💕

He’ll be starting on PlaqueOff to help support his dental care and reduce plaque build-up, and his owners will be arranging for his own vets to remove the existing plaque and tartar.

From there, we discussed keeping those lovely teeth and gums as healthy as possible and preventing further build-up by continuing plaque off and introducing tooth brushing. 🪥🐾

Tucker was such a gorgeous boy and an absolute pleasure to meet! 🥰💙

Here’s to keeping that beautiful smile healthy and creating pawsitive experiences along the way! 🐾✨
