Four-year-old Raya is searching for a patient family who will give her the time, safety and love she needs to truly settle.

Raya came into rescue after being surrendered from the pound, so we are still learning about her personality and needs. She has previously had several litters of puppies, and now it’s her turn to be cherished simply for being Raya.

She is friendly with children of all ages, but can be selective about cats and other dogs. Any potential animal companions will need to be considered carefully. Her house-training is also still being assessed, so her new family must be prepared to guide her with patience and consistency.

With time and understanding, Raya has every possibility of becoming a deeply loving companion. 🧡

Beautiful Coco is a five-year-old, short-haired piebald dachshund searching for a gentle forever family—and she would love to become your new little shadow.

Coco is a friendly girl who enjoys the company of children of all ages and other small dogs. She’s clever, food-motivated and always ready to show you what she knows when treats are involved!

As an ex-breeder dog, Coco may need a little more time, patience and reassurance while she adjusts to life in her new home. She is almost fully house-trained and needs a loving family willing to support her as she continues learning that she is safe, cherished and home for good.

🌭 MEET LENNY — AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🧡

Three-year-old Lenny is a handsome chocolate dachshund with soulful eyes, a cuddly nature and plenty of love to give.

Lenny is house-trained and friendly with children of all ages and other dogs. He absolutely loves cuddles and would be delighted to become someone’s loyal little companion.

This clever sausage is also a talented escape artist, so his new home must have a genuinely secure backyard with safe, dachshund-proof fencing. Lenny does not get along with cats and needs a cat-free home.

As Lenny is new to the rescue, we are still getting to know him. His forever family will need to be patient, understanding and prepared to help him settle into his new life at his own pace.

After a rough few weeks and having to put surrenders on hold we are catching our breath.

While we have a break here are some of the things happening at the rescue:

Reviewing policies and procedures
Education and training of our team
Building relationships with potential foster and adoption homes
Vet work for dogs in care
Supporting foster families
Supporting new adoptions
Event work for our upcoming HalloWe**ie event
Answering messages and phone calls
Hosting adoption days

We also have 3 dogs on the surrender waitlist and have turned away 7 dogs who said they couldn't wait 😪
