2 weeks last Wednesday. There's nothing quite like a puppy yawning!! Ahhh life is tough being fed milk and sleeping. Eyes 👀 all opened and littlest weighs 1kg, the biggest 1.4kg. Mum is happy 😊

2 weeks old tomorrow, starting to crawl around, eyes nearly open (not quite), becoming more noisy knowing how to call for mum, had some time in the sun and on the grass, plenty of cuddles, still all milk feeds and mum does all the cleaning.. 🙌, and getting very chubby very quickly!! Mum is feeling good leaving the whelping box regularly for walks and affection, choosing to sleep near by but not always with her pups, but snores well and truly when letting her milk down when feeding. 🥰

Pups have arrived! One week old today, Rozi had 8 (plus sadly 3 stillborn 💔). She was carrying a lot, She went into labour Wednesday night, 4 days early. She did a brilliant job, and had her first in the veggie patch in amongst the spinach. I gently moved them to the whelping box and she was comforted where she has whelped before. She loves picking the pups up and showing them off. She is attentive and a good mother, milking often. I am keeping an eye on these pups, some slightly smaller in size than previous litters, so ensuring enough time on mum. It's been a busy time with one trip to the vet to make sure she Rozi was ok being her 3rd and final litter.
They are adorable 😍 Well done Rozi.

After a few years of trying, we have a successful pregnancy for Rozi and Jake! Due September 26th!

A beautiful morning for a walk around the Blue lake- 14mth old, 7 year old and 5 year old labs- call me crazy! The toddler harder work than the labs 😉 - might as well get out and about while we wait for the winter rain.
Ultrasound booked for Rozi next week- I'm apprehensive as we didnt have much luck last heat & had an assisted mating this cycle- prog levels were good but am still feeling unsure 🤞
