Absolutely stoked with Rangi. Just that young pup who's up for any challenge and handles it like a dream boat. All the best and congratulations to his new owners in QLD.

Ceri and Ruby made it into the Open Top 20 and Final and Blade into the Maiden/Novice finals.
Blade had a 9-10 point gap to catch up and did well, placing 6th in the Maiden, but no luck with his cattle in the Novice.

Ruby really gave it her all for us this weekend. And had to back it up through 4 aggregate rounds. I was anxiously pacing for a solid 20 minutes throughout each round. She and Ceri moved into the top 20 in 11th (90.5) with 7 points to make up. Then they pulled a 98.5 and moved into the top 10 final in 2nd place. She had a solid go in the final and scored equal first. From there, they had a run-off for the Title.
Ruby worked very well with the cattle she drew, unfortunately just a few points shy. We are incredibly proud of her for coming home with 2nd from a draw of about 130 dogs in the NSW Open Championship. We are beyond excited to see how her J Sam puppies develop.

Rangi and Violet will be available on the Australian Working Stock Dog Auction June 5th-10th.

Rangi and violet are a couple cracking young dogs, with the best of both KSD Magic (KSD Blade/KSD Silvie) and Lizzy's bitch Kimmy (Celtic kelpies Princess). Rangi is one of the most likeable male pups that we have bred, unfortunately as a sire he is related to all of our Females.

Any questions, call Ceri on 0458886765.

KSD Coco is starting to hit her straps, making the Finals in both the Novice (5th) and Maiden (4th). I’m really pleased with how she’s progressing and the confidence she’s building with each run.

As sponsors of the Maiden Class Braidwood Cattle dog trial, it was fantastic to see a 14-month-old Kiwi bred dog take out the win. Cam Turner and Mana put together two excellent runs and were very deserving winners.

Congratulations to all of the Maiden Finalists:

🥇 Cam Turner – Mana – 85 / 92 – 177
🥈 Jason Sharpe – Nil-Rain Whoop – 91 / 84 – 175
🥉 Jason Sharpe – Ten – 86 / 88 – 174
4th Ceri Lewis – KSD Coco – 84 / 88 – 172
5th Ryan Redmond – Burrs – 86 / 81 – 167
6th Gordon Cole – Ruby – 88 / 56 – 144

The standard right through the final was strong and it’s exciting to see the young dogs coming through.

We look forward to proudly sponsoring again next year.
