Rangi and Violet will be available on the Australian Working Stock Dog Auction June 5th-10th.

Rangi and violet are a couple cracking young dogs, with the best of both KSD Magic (KSD Blade/KSD Silvie) and Lizzy's bitch Kimmy (Celtic kelpies Princess). Rangi is one of the most likeable male pups that we have bred, unfortunately as a sire he is related to all of our Females.

We’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to offer Blade at the RayWhite Workingdog Sale at Rockhampton QLD this year. He’s always been the dog you rely on for the hard jobs and the big days, so it’s with genuine regret that we have made this decision.

We have young dogs coming through and not enough big mustering days at present to keep them all working. Blade already has some outstanding dogs on the ground, and we currently don’t have any unrelated females to pair him with.

We will be retaining frozen semen from Blade and fully intend to use him again in our future breeding program.

KSD Coco is starting to hit her straps, making the Finals in both the Novice (5th) and Maiden (4th). I’m really pleased with how she’s progressing and the confidence she’s building with each run.

As sponsors of the Maiden Class Braidwood Cattle dog trial, it was fantastic to see a 14-month-old Kiwi bred dog take out the win. Cam Turner and Mana put together two excellent runs and were very deserving winners.

Great day at the Braidwood Cattle dog trial with KSD Silvie.

Silvie scored a 95 in the first round and backed it up with a 96 in the final for a combined score of 191. I couldn’t be happier with how she is working this season.

She’s already placed second at both the Taralga and Gundagai Cattle Dog Trials this year, so it was fantastic to see her step up and take out the Open win at Braidwood.

Very proud of this dog and the consistency she’s showing.

Our pig hunting dogs are also imported from NZ. We currently have pups available from a Lockley bitch Pink, who has been one of the best finding and bailing dogs Ceri has owned in 40 years of hunting.
On offer are 2 NZ Lockley × NZ Heading pups by Pink out of KSD Blade. A hard-to-find breed, bred to find and bail (hard stop). Not suitable for working livestock.
