Meet Jen, our Training Manager!

Many of you may have met Jen over the years in her roles as a Veterinary Nurse and as part of our Client Services team, so we thought it was time to properly introduce you to what she does behind the scenes at TVH! ❤️

Jen has been part of the veterinary industry for 19 years and has a real passion for helping people learn, grow and feel confident in their roles. As our Training Manager, she works closely with our trainees and new team members, supporting them as they begin their careers and helping them develop the skills they need to become amazing members of our team.

Jen is also a huge advocate for Veterinary Nurses and Technicians and is passionate about helping our profession continue to grow and be recognised.

Outside of work, Jen is kept busy with her husband Andrew, her two daughters Rose and Grace, and their two dogs, a cat and a flock of chickens! 🐶🐱🐔

We honestly don’t know what we would do without Jen. We are so grateful for all of her support, knowledge and encouragement, and for everything she does for our team every single day. We are so lucky to have her! ❤️

After the fire and renovations, we’re slowly building everything back up, and we’d be incredibly grateful for any spare towels or blankets you might have lying around at home.

If you have any you no longer need, you’re welcome to drop them off at our Bellerive reception during business hours ❤️

After 18 months, we’re finally ready to welcome you back to our Bellerive clinic! 🐾

It’s been a long journey to get here, and we’re so excited to finally open the doors and celebrate this special milestone with our clients and community.

Join us for our Grand Opening morning with our ribbon cutting, speeches from Dr Rob and Dr Gareth, hospital tours, coffee from Sage & Lilly along with pup cup vouchers from Cocomo & Co.

Millie’s Dental Visit 🦷✨

Millie recently visited our team for a dental procedure after we identified a build-up of tartar on her teeth.

During her procedure, the tartar was removed and her teeth were thoroughly cleaned and polished, leaving her with a fresh, healthy smile 🤩

Regular dental checks are an important part of your pet’s preventative healthcare, as dental disease can develop without obvious signs at home. Don’t forget to check your pet’s teeth regularly and speak with your veterinarian if you notice any changes 🐾

We’re getting ready to celebrate the grand opening of our rebuilt Bellerive hospital, and our TVH team will be coming together to mark this very special occasion! 🐾

To allow everyone to join the celebrations, there will be some temporary changes to our clinic hours:

📅 Friday, 28 August
Kingston & Sorell will close at 4:00pm.
Bellerive & Mornington will be closed.

📅 Monday, 31 August
Kingston, Sorell & Mornington will open at 9:30am.
Bellerive will be open from 9:00am–6:00pm.

IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT REMINDER

As we prepare to move into our Bellerive clinic from Monday, 31st August, we wanted to remind our clients that unless you have specifically requested to be booked at our Mornington clinic, your appointment or procedure will be at our Bellerive location 🐾

A reminder to our surgical patients who have previously been seen by our team working out of AES Derwent Park that from Monday, 31st August, your scheduled appointments and procedures will be held at our Bellerive clinic.

If you’d prefer to attend our Mornington clinic, or need to make or change a booking or procedure there, please call 6244 7667 and our team will be happy to assist.

Mornington will have its own dedicated clinic contact number, which will be communicated to our clients very shortly. Keep an eye out for this information.

Our Mornington clinic will be closed tomorrow, Friday 28th August, as we get ready to re-open our Bellerive Clinic. Both Bellerive and Mornington locations will re-open on Monday 31st August during our normal opening hours.
