Let's talk Mini Lop Genetics:
What is the rarest colour?
If you have ever scrolled through photos of Mini Lops, you know their coats come in an incredible rainbow of shades. But some of those beautiful coats are incredibly hard to produce. True rarity comes down to complex recessive genes.

Here are 3 of the hardest varieties to find:
Lilac Solid: A stunning, dusty dove-grey with a soft pinkish or lavender tint. It requires a rabbit to inherit a double dose of both dilute and chocolate genes.
The Magpie Pattern: A stark, zebra-like patchwork of jet black and pure white bands, with zero orange allowed.
Blue-Eyed White (BEW): Pristine snow-white fur contrasted by intense, crystal-blue eyes. It requires two copies of the elusive Vienna gene.
