This sweet little angel had her very first grooming experience today! 🥹🐾💕

Nala was treated to a nice bath, blow-dry, a little tidy of her feets, and of course, lots of bribery… aka treatos! 😂🦴

We’ve got this gorgeous girl on a 6-week grooming schedule to help with desensitisation and getting her comfortable and confident with the grooming process. Starting regular grooming while they’re young is so important, as it helps create positive experiences and can prevent grooming from becoming stressful or difficult later in life. ✂️🛁

She did such a wonderful job for her first visit, and I can’t wait to watch her confidence grow with each groom! 🥰🐶

Sweet old boy Jack came in for a full pamper session today, which included a warm bath, blow dry, de-shed, full hand scissor finish, nail trim, and a spritz of cologne to have him looking and smelling his best.

He's always such a sweet little fluff ball and an absolute pleasure to groom. 💙🐾

🫧 DUKE 🫧

This little stinky gremlin came in for his regular full groom today, which included a warm bath, blow dry, full body clip, nail trim, and a spritz of cologne to have him smelling fresh and looking handsome again.

His mum is always keen to try something a little different, so today we gave him a mohawk to match his cheeky bad-boy attitude! Although, I'm not sure how tough he looks with the little bit of green still left in his tail from one of our previous fun grooms. 💚😂

Even though he can be a bit of a little ratbag from time to time, I absolutely love seeing Duke on my books every 6 weeks. He always keeps me entertained, and it wouldn't be the same without him! 🐾💕

Today I had the pleasure of grooming one of my gorgeous regulars, Possum. She was treated to the full pamper package, including a nice warm bath, blow dry, full body clip, nail trim, and finished with a spritz of delicious cologne. 🛁✨

Although the weather is getting colder, Possum spends most of her time indoors, so a shorter trim is much more practical and manageable for her owner while still keeping her comfortable and looking fabulous. 🐾💕

🐾Why Matting is More Than Just Tangles 🐾

Many owners don't realise that matting can be extremely uncomfortable and even painful for their dogs.

Mats form when hair becomes tangled and tightly packed against the skin. Over time, these mats can pull on the skin, restrict movement, trap moisture, dirt and bacteria, and can even hide skin infections, hot spots, fleas or injuries.

From scruff to fabulous 👑

Luna enjoyed the full pamper treatment today, including a warm bath, blow dry, thorough deshed, tidy trim, and nail clip, all finished off with a delicious spritz of coconut cologne. 🥥✨

Border Collies have a beautiful double coat that requires regular maintenance to keep it healthy and comfortable. When the loose undercoat isn't removed, it can become compacted against the skin, leading to matting, reduced airflow, and skin irritation. Regular grooming helps remove excess coat, prevents compaction, and keeps them looking and feeling their best.

Luna was an absolute superstar for her first professional groom and left looking fresh, fluffy, and ready to turn heads! 🐾💕
