🌷 MEET THE BRIAR PATCH FAMILY — CEILIDH🌷

Today we’re introducing Ceilidh! 🤎

There’s something special about getting to know the dogs behind a breeding program, beyond simply seeing beautiful puppy photos.

Their personalities, daily routines, relationships and favourite activities all form part of the story of Briar Patch.

💕 Let’s get to know Ceilidh:

🐾 Her personality: Snuggly, Naps on demand, happy to chill.

🌸 Her favourite pastime: Sneaking a nap

🤎 Her best friend in the pack: Milo

✨ Something you might not know about her: Shes an avid sniffer and will track down a snack with her snozz every day of the week.

We hope these introductions give everyone a little glimpse into the dogs we share our lives with.

Which of our Briar Patch introductions have you enjoyed most so far?

🚀 MEET THE BRIAR PATCH FAMILY — ROCKET 🚀

With a name like Rocket, we couldn’t resist giving this one his very own introduction!

Today we’re introducing another member of the Briar Patch family. 🤎

One of the wonderful things about Murray River Retrievers is their versatility. Historically developed for retrieving work, they’re a breed with plenty of potential for people who enjoy training, outdoor activities and spending time with their dogs.

🐾 All about Rocket:

🚀 His personality: Loyal, A Little Lazy, True overgrown puppy

🎾 His favourite game: clean up toys (He will go and pick up all his toys and put them away!)

🧠 Something he’s particularly good at: Sitting in the front seat on every drive any where!

🤎 What makes Rocket special to us: He is an unbelievably loyal over grown puppy, willing to give his all to every trip, job and mission.

We love celebrating each of our dogs as individuals, and Rocket is no exception.

🐾 MEET THE BRIAR PATCH FAMILY — MILO 🐾

It’s Milo’s turn in the spotlight today! 💙

One of the things that makes sharing our lives with dogs so special is watching their personalities shine through.

Murray River Retrievers have a history as working retrievers, and their intelligence, enthusiasm and love of activity are just some of the qualities that attract people to the breed.

💙 Getting to know Milo:

🐶 Three words that describe him: Big, Fast and Sharp!

🦴 His absolute favourite thing: Peanut butter lick toys

🌊 His favourite adventure: Duck hunting with Dad

😂 His funniest habit: Nose nudges everyone when his peanut butter runs out!

We think every dog deserves their moment in the spotlight, and today belongs to Milo!

Tell us — is your dog the adventurous type or more of a couch companion?

🌸 MEET THE BRIAR PATCH FAMILY — MILLIE 🌸

Today we’re putting the spotlight on one of our beautiful girls, Millie! 🤎

Every dog at Briar Patch has their own personality, little quirks and special place in our family.

🐾 A little about Millie:

🤎 Her personality: Curious, Clever & Cheeky

🐾 Her favourite activity: Taking herself for multiple swims in the dam every day, rain hail or shine!

🌿 Her special talent: Hunting down toys and stashing them in her bed.

💕 What we love most about her: Her willingness to learn, swim and explore new things.

One of our favourite things about living with Murray River Retrievers is getting to know just how different each individual can be.

We’d love to know — do you have a dog who reminds you of Millie?

🐾 BEHIND BRIAR PATCH MURRAY RIVER RETRIEVERS 🐾

We thought it was about time we introduced the humans behind Briar Patch!

Behind every litter of puppies are the people who spend their days caring for, raising, loving and occasionally being completely outsmarted by their dogs! 🤎

For us, Murray River Retrievers are so much more than just a breed. They’re part of our family, our everyday lives and something we’re incredibly passionate about.

We love sharing this beautiful Australian breed with others, from their history and working heritage to their wonderful personalities and versatility.

Our most recent litter has now found their families, and while we don’t currently have puppies available, we’re welcoming expressions of interest for our next planned litter.

Over the coming week, we’d love to introduce you to the dogs who make Briar Patch what it is!

🤎 Thanks for following along and supporting our little corner of the Murray River Retriever world.

📩 Message us to enquire about our future puppy waitlist.

School holidays… so the kids are
In the lounge watching Disney, Milo is out with them getting all the attention and cold floor
That he can find.

Milly, Millicent or Maleficent when she’s being cheeky, is picking and choosing her spots… on the bed, checking on the kids… back on the bed… annoying Milo….

And Ceilidh is very much focused on making sure that Milly knows she can hop on the bed, but she’s getting cuddles till she gets too hot and moves down to the bottom of the bed…
