From adorable puppy to (mostly) responsible adult, Reggie has grown up quite a bit. But one thing has stayed the same: his love of balls.

Give Reggie a ball and he simply won’t quit. He’ll happily chase, play and fetch for as long as someone is willing to keep the game going.

He may look like a grown-up now, but the ball-obsessed puppy is still in there.

Mandy has always known exactly what she wants. As a puppy, she was demanding, sassy, and very good at making sure everyone knew it.

15 years later and not much has changed.

Sparkles has always had a very particular idea of what makes the perfect bedtime companion: someone's clothing.

As a puppy, she loved sneaking off with a piece of clothing to cuddle up for a nap. All these years later, the habit is still going strong.

Socks, shirts, jumpers... if it smells like her favourite people, it's perfect for a cuddle.

Four years ago, Monty was a tiny 600g puppy who loved curling up on laps. Today, he's a very respectable 30kg, but that hasn't stopped him from insisting that he still fits perfectly on a lap.

Whether they're 600g or 30kg, some dogs are just meant to be lap dogs. ❤️

🐶 Happy International Dog Day!

For International Dog Day, we're taking a look back at some of our dogs then & now and the puppy habits they've managed to hold onto.

They may have grown bigger, wiser and (hopefully) a little less mischievous... but some things never change.

From bouncy ball lovers and balloon-throwing experts to sock thieves and surfers, stay tuned to meet them at their most adorable, and see what they're still getting up to today.

First up is Mitsy. ⚽

As a puppy, Mitsy absolutely loved high-bounce balls. She could chase them all day long and never seemed to get tired.

Fast-forward a few years and not much has changed! Mitsy will still chase a high-bounce ball all day if you let her. She's just a little slower these days!

Elanco at Sheepvention 2026

On the 2nd and 3rd of August, the Elanco team — Craig Stevenson, Alice Lewis, Colin Andrews, Jas Freeman & Mark McLennan — attended the 2026 Sheepvention event in Hamilton, Victoria.

Our team spent both days on the ground engaging directly with producers, generating considerable buzz around CLiK Duostar — the newest innovation in our fly control lineup.

Sheepvention 2026 has been hailed by the Hamilton Show Society as one of its strongest events since 2020 — with record attendance and overwhelming support from exhibitors, sponsors, and the wider agricultural community.

Elanco at the Bendigo Sheep & Wool Show

From the 17th to 19th of July, our Elanco team — Jas Freeman, Alice Lewis and Mark McLennan — attended the Bendigo Sheep & Wool Show.

Despite some pretty dire weather conditions, producer confidence and interest remained very high over the two days. With flystrike season fast approaching, it was the perfect opportunity to launch CLiK Duostar to producers.

The Australian Sheep & Wool Show is the world's largest event of its kind and Australia's premier celebration of the sheep and wool industry. Run by the Australian Sheep Breeders' Association for over 140 years, it's the industry's key benchmarking event, showcasing top sheep breeding alongside innovation and education in the sector.

Pictured: Jas, Alice and Mark braving 7-degree conditions on day two, and Alice and Jas presenting the Reserve Champion ribbon to Conrayn Merino Stud in the Australian Fleece Competition, where over 450 fleeces were entered.

Meet Baloo 😺

Ever since he was a kitten, Baloo has had a very specific approach to relaxation: head pushed firmly against the couch, looking as though he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.

When he's not striking his signature post, he's embracing the classic British Shorthair move: lying on his back, looking irresistibly cute and inviting a belly rub... before reminding everyone that it’s a trap! 🐾

We’ve loved celebrating the cats behind our team this International Cat Day, and we hope you have too.

International Cat Day | Then & Now

Meet Luna 😺

When Luna was a kitten, she was gifted a very special toy from Elanco: a toy ostrich. Eight years later, that little ostrich is still one of her favourite toys.

Alongside her colourful felt balls, the ostrich has been part of a game Luna has perfected over the years. She carries her toys to the top of the stairs, waits for someone to throw them down, then races after them as they bounce from step to step.

Once she's nearly at the bottom, she pops her head through the stairs and waits patiently for any toys that need to be sent back her way.

Luna knows exactly how to ask for playtime. She'll find her toys from their bowl, carry them one by one to the top of the stairs, and meow until someone comes to "play ball"!
