Horsemanship Clinics Canberra

Horsemanship Clinics Canberra This is a page to share information about a number of horsemanship and other equestrian health related clinics, seminars and events around Canberra.

This page is dedicated to sharing information on clinics about all kinds of horsemanship; classical, ethical and good, with an emphasis on health, wellbeing, good posture and an improving relationship between horse and rider/trainer. Whether it be clinics in Canberra or events that like minded people can attend around the world. Ground schooling and haute ecole is a particular passion. Everyone is on a journey and we are all students. I currently organise regular clinics for Ross Jacobs. I am a keen clinic participant and spectator with a group of friends who enjoy learning. Whether it be around the corner or around the world, learning is a wonderful thing. This page will only show the details of clinics or trainers whose journey is along these lines and that I recommend personally.

Ready to transform your horsemanship in a way that feels good for both you and your horse?
Join us for the Ross Jacobs Good Horsemanship Clinic – 10 & 11 October 2026.

This is a hands‑on, interactive clinic where your goals shape the lesson. Want help with groundwork? Round pen work? Rider confidence? Softer lateral work? Floating issues? Young horse foundations? Bring your questions — Ross encourages them.

What you’ll love:

A variety of facilities: round pen, sand arena, big grassy spaces

Shade trees perfect for spectating and relaxing

Snacks and proper coffee

A calm, supportive vibe where every rider is heard

Clear audio so spectators don’t miss a thing

Lessons are $170 (1 Hour) and include spectating, lunch and snacks.
Spectators $40/ day if you’re not bringing a horse this time.

Just bring your lunch, a comfy chair, and a notebook — we’ll handle the rest.
