💙 MEET LITTLE MISS BLUE
This beautiful girl recently visited Vet Tech Monique for her dental procedure — and she was an absolute pleasure to care for. 🦷✨
Why does dental health matter?
Dental disease is one of the most common health concerns we see in our pets, and many dogs are remarkably good at hiding signs of discomfort.
A thorough dental examination under general anaesthesia allows us to assess each tooth and the surrounding tissues for signs of:
• Plaque and tartar accumulation
• Gingivitis and periodontal disease
• Fractured or damaged teeth
• Infection and dental pain
• Other changes that may not be visible during a routine examination
Dental disease can affect more than just your pet’s mouth. Advanced periodontal disease can allow bacteria to enter the bloodstream and may contribute to wider health complications.
Regular dental assessments help us identify problems early, maintain comfort and support your pet’s overall health and wellbeing.
💙 Healthy teeth. Comfortable pets. Better quality of life.
