🚨 URGENT FUNDRAISER FOR KARMA 🚨

Today was meant to be a very exciting day for Karma. She was all set to meet a potential adopter and take another step closer to finding her forever home.

Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon, Karma was involved in an accident which resulted in a fractured femur (broken leg). She was rushed to the emergency vet, where she stayed overnight for assessment, x-rays, pain management and treatment.

In just the last 24 hours, her veterinary expenses have already exceeded $3,000, and we are now working to arrange the surgery she urgently needs. At this stage, we are still waiting on a surgical quote, but we know the costs will be significant.

Anyone who has met Karma knows she is honestly the sweetest girl. She has such a gentle nature, loves people, and deserves every chance at a happy future. We are committed to doing everything in our power to help her recover and get back to living the life she deserves.

Karma is currently being managed with pain relief and, despite everything she has been through, she is doing remarkably well. Now we need your help.

As a volunteer-run rescue, unexpected emergencies like this place a huge strain on our finances. We are urgently seeking donations to help cover Karma’s surgery and ongoing veterinary care.

A special thank you to SavourLife Pet Adoptions for partnering with Pets Domain once again to support rescue groups across Australia. For the third year running, Pets Domain and SavourLife have joined forces to help local rescues raise much-needed funds and awareness.

We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteers for sunning today and our foster carers for bringing their foster dogs along today and helping showcase just how amazing rescue dogs can be. A special shout-out to our mini volunteers, Paige and William, who did an incredible job helping throughout the day. 🐾❤️

Today’s Pet Adoption Day gave us the opportunity to connect with the community, share information about pet adoption, and introduce some of our dogs looking for their forever homes.

An extra thank you to everyone who purchased SavourLife dry food today. For every bag sold, an equivalent bag will be donated to rescue groups, helping feed rescue pets in need.

Roger is a 2-year-old French Bulldog x Staffy with a heart full of love and so much potential. Behind his goofy personality and teddy bear-soft coat 🧸 is a boy who simply wants a chance at a stable, loving life.

Roger didn’t have the best start. After spending a month living on a concrete floor before coming into care, he’s still learning what safety, routine, and comfort truly feel like 💔 Yet despite it all, he remains affectionate, playful, and eager to connect with people 🥺

He loves human attention, enjoys other dogs 🐕, and would thrive in an active home willing to continue his training and help guide him with patience and consistency ✨ Roger needs someone who will give him structure, understanding, and the chance to finally feel secure.
