Every groom starts long before your puppy’s first salon visit. đŸ¶âœ‚ïž

One of the most important parts of raising a confident Cavoodle puppy is introducing them to the sights, sounds and sensations they’ll experience throughout their life.

In this video, our puppies are gently exposed to The sound and vibration of grooming clippers, Being brushed, Having their face, eyes and ears handled and Holding their head in the same position a groomer will during a groom.

These short, positive experiences help build confidence and make future grooming appointments far less stressful.

A Cavoodle’s beautiful coat requires regular grooming, so the work we do in these early weeks can make a lifelong difference.

When I look back at these moments, I don’t see the hard work, the sleepless nights, or the endless washing.

I see two little boys growing up surrounded by unconditional love.

They’ve had the privilege of watching tiny Cavoodle puppies grow from newborns into confident little dogs before they leave to begin the next chapter with their forever families.

They’ve celebrated every milestone, shared countless cuddles, and learned that loving something also means letting it go.

I hope one day, when they’re adults, these are the memories they smile about. Not because we bred puppies, but because our home was always full of love, laughter, and little paws.

The dreaded robot
 or is it? đŸ€–đŸ¶

One of the most common questions I get is, “How do you help puppies become confident around everyday household noises?”

The answer starts early.

Our puppies are gradually introduced to common sounds they’ll experience in their new homes, including the robot vacuum cleaner, so they learn it’s just another part of daily life not a scary monster!

Early puppy socialisation plays a huge role in building confident, resilient dogs. By exposing our puppies to normal household sights and sounds in a positive way, we’re helping prepare them for a smoother transition into family life.

At Cavoodle Collective Sydney, socialisation is a big part of our puppy raising program because we want every puppy to leave us feeling curious, confident and ready to take on the world.

After weeks of watching photos and videos, our families finally get to experience the moment they’ve been counting down to meeting the newest member of their family in person.

At 4 weeks old, our Cavoodle puppies are confidently walking, playing, exploring and beginning to show their unique little personalities. They’re curious, affectionate and ready to start forming the special bond they’ll share with their forever family.

These Meet & Greets are one of my favourite parts of being a breeder. Watching complete strangers become “Mum and Dad” in a matter of minutes is something truly special. You can see the excitement, the love, and the instant connection that reminds you this little puppy has already found exactly where they belong.
