Big weekend for Gwydir Joey. At the Australian Allround Stock Dog competition this weekend Joey finished overall 2nd (combined cattle, 3 sheep & yard scores) and was the outright winner of the Open Yard section. Congratulations to Nigel Brazier on his wins.

Cannot wait to meet Jade and Joeyā€™s pups.

Jade has already produced 3 sheep, cattle, utility and yard dogs.

On paper the sky should be the limit for these pups!

Hopefully some more half siblings to Remi & Quinn due in 9 weeksšŸ¤žšŸ»
Jadeā€™s been bred to Nigel Brazierā€™s Gwydir Joey.
Looking forward to seeing what this produces. Joey has finished 4th in the Ultimate Stock Dog (cattle, yard & 3 sheep), 90+ high scores in 3 sheep and he is an open yard dog.
Joeyā€™s maternal sire line ties in with Jades, and heā€™s by the former Australian Yard Dog Champion Sunraysia George, who is Quinn and Jettā€™s great grandsire.
It all looks good on paper! šŸ˜Ž versatile kelpies with lots of stock sense, feel and strength.

Gunnedah Trials and very cool to finish in equal 1st place in the Maiden Cattle trial with Remi, with 104 dogs in the class, in cow dog territory. After a run off for 1stā€¦ we took home 2nd place. Quinn also finished in the top 10.
Encourage Yard and Quinn gets 2nd place from 43 dogs.
Novice Yard, with 86 dogs entered, both girls make the 5 dog final where Remi gets 2nd (see a themeā€¦..lol) and Quinn 4th.
Absolutely loving the versatility of my dogs. Next trial entered is Bungendore 3 sheep.

Fingers crossed as well that Quinn is pregnant to the Remi son C**t.

Itā€™s been many years since Iā€™ve done any ANKC/DogsAustralia competitions, but I still love getting the breeder certificates in the mail from all the Erudite ACDs doing cool things.
From obedience, to rally, sprint dog, scent detection and agility, they are so talented.
Sigurd seems to bring home a ribbon at every event.

Still holding her ground even while balancing on a log. Quinnā€™s willing to do whatever it takes to get a job done.
She has become such a reliable work dog, with not many tasks beyond her- be in paddock, yard or cattle work.
Sheā€™s just been bred to the Remi son C**t, so fingers crossed for Quinn puppies soon.
C**t is sired by Wundurra Mitch, bred by Steve Weyman. Heā€™s Capree Outlaw x Capree Mindy. These pups will carry the genes of Quinn, Remi, Jade and Mindy šŸ˜

The Armitage and Buckley New England Yard and Cattle Championships.
