Switching to Raw Feeding? Here's how to do it safely! 🐾
Making the transition to raw feeding doesn't have to be stressful. Follow our simple 10-day
transition guide to help your pet adjust smoothly:

THE 10-DAY TRANSITION PLAN:
Days 1-3: 75% old food + 25% Raw Food
Days 4-6: 50% old food + 50% Raw Food
Days 7-9: 25% old food + 75% Raw Food
Day 10+: 100% Raw Food! 🎉

WHY THIS GRADUAL APPROACH?
✅ Allows digestive system to adjust
✅ Reduces risk of digestive upset
✅ Helps your pet's gut bacteria adapt
✅ Prevents food refusal
✅ Builds confidence in the new diet

PRO TIPS FOR SUCCESS:
🐕 Go slow - some pets need longer than 10 days (that's okay!)
🐕 Watch their digestion closely - monitor stools and energy
🐕 Start with milder proteins - chicken or turkey are great options!
🐕 Keep fresh water available at all times
🐕 Monitor energy levels and weight throughout transition
🐕 If digestive upset occurs, slow down the transition
🐕 Keep meal times consistent

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
Every pet is unique - adjust the timeline based on your individual pet's response. If your pet
experiences any digestive issues, simply slow down the transition by repeating a stage for
an extra few days.

Don't rush the process! A gradual transition sets your pet up for long-term success on raw
feeding.

The heart behind Canine Country 💚

We're not just another pet food company - we're a family-owned Queensland business with a
genuine mission: providing better nutrition for the pets we love.

OUR STORY:
Canine Country was started by passionate pet parents who believed every dog and cat
deserves nutrition that's as close to nature as possible. We created this business because
we wanted the best for our own four-legged family members, and we knew other pet parents
felt the same way.

OUR COMMITMENT:
Every batch is handmade with care, because we feed it to our own pets. From sourcing the
finest Queensland ingredients to hand-portioning each meal, we treat every batch like it's for
our own fur babies. There's no mass production here - just genuine craftsmanship and
attention to detail.

WHAT YOU SUPPORT WHEN YOU CHOOSE CANINE COUNTRY:
🏠 A local Queensland family business
󰔡 Fair wages and ethical employment for our small team
🌾 Sustainable, ethical sourcing practices
💚 Genuine care and passion for every pet's health
🤝 Community-focused values and local partnerships

We believe in doing business the right way - with integrity, transparency, and genuine care
for both pets and people. Family feeding family - that's the Canine Country way! 🐾

Thank you for supporting us and trusting us with your pet's nutrition.

Ever wondered why Canine Country raw meals don't include offal (organ meat)? 🤔
Here's our philosophy: Every pet is different!

While offal is incredibly nutrient-dense (packed with B-vitamins, iron, and natural enzymes),
not every pet tolerates it well. Some pets experience:

• Digestive upset from rich organ meat
• Breed-specific sensitivities
• Individual taste preferences

We provide the perfect foundation with muscle meat, bone, vegetables, and supplements -
then YOU decide if your pet needs offal.

Want to add offal? Try our separate Kangaroo & Goat Offal Mince offered in our convenient
1kg Portion Packs. Introduce it gradually and monitor your pet's response.

WHY THIS MATTERS:
✅ Complete control over your pet's nutrition
✅ No guesswork - you know exactly what they're eating
✅ No waste if your pet doesn't tolerate it
✅ Flexibility for responsible pet parents
✅ Tailored nutrition for individual needs

Your pet, your choice!

How much raw food should your pet eat? 🐾

Here's our simple feeding guide:
🐕 Adult Dogs: 2-3% of body weight daily
🐶 Puppies: 5-10% of body weight daily
🧓 Senior Dogs: 2% of body weight daily
🐱 Cats: 3-5% of body weight daily

PRACTICAL EXAMPLE:
A 20kg dog would eat 400-600g per day, split into 2 meals for optimal digestion.
A 5kg cat would eat 150-250g per day, split into 2 meals.

IMPORTANT TIPS:
✅ Start with smaller portions if new to raw feeding
✅ Gradually increase over 7-10 days
✅ Every pet is unique - monitor their weight and energy levels
✅ Adjust portions based on activity level and metabolism
✅ Keep fresh water available at all times

TROUBLESHOOTING:
If your pet seems hungry: Increase portions by 10-15%
If your pet seems full: Reduce portions by 10-15%
If digestion issues occur: Slow down the transition or adjust protein type

🐾 TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY
Meet Bob & The Bailey Family from Tweed Heads!

"We've had our Jack Russell on Canine Country for 15 years and he is as healthy as a racehorse! People always ask us how old our puppy is when we're at the park - they can't believe he's 15!

We started Bob on your food when we adopted him at just 16 weeks old, and he's been thriving ever since. Bob just celebrated his 15th birthday and he's a spritely, happy, energetic dog. In his entire life, he's only been to the vet twice - and neither visit was for anything serious!

We truly believe Canine Country's raw food is the reason Bob is so healthy and vibrant. He's benefited greatly from it, and we always tell everyone about you. Thank you for making such an incredible product and providing healthy, raw food for our furry family member."
❤️The Bailey Family (and Bob the dog) 🐕, Tweed Heads

This is what 15 years of quality nutrition looks like!
Bob is living proof that Canine Country raw food delivers real, lasting results.
