When I started Posh Paws, I had a clear vision for the kind of pet care business I wanted to build — one centred around trust, education, compassion and the emotional wellbeing of every pet in our care.

Becoming a member of the Pet Professional Guild Australia (PPGA) has been a goal of mine since the beginning of that journey… and I’m incredibly proud to say we’ve finally achieved it! 🥹🐾

I used to think the hardest part of running Posh Paws would be managing the calendar.

But the truth?

It is watching someone place their house keys in my hand and recognising the question they may be too polite to ask:

“Will my dog really be okay?”

That small pause before a family leaves has taught me something I will never forget.

For many pet parents, going away does not automatically mean switching off.

Even after they have carefully arranged care, part of them may still be wondering:

Did they remember the anxiety medication?

Is she drinking enough water?

Will someone notice if something feels different?

Is he settled, or is he still waiting for us to come home?

It is not because they do not want to trust.

It is because genuine trust takes time to build.

It comes from being listened to.

From knowing the little details matter.

From seeing that their dog is not being rushed, overlooked or expected to adjust on someone else’s timeline.

That is why I built Posh Paws around one household at a time.
