ππΎ **EXCUSE ME, WHY AM I IN SCHOOL?!**
Today, I was informed that I had to attend a training seminar with Toni from GuleKule Dogs who has travelled all the way from Norway on his trip Down Under to Australia.
Now, I don't want to question the qualifications of an international dog trainer, BUTβ¦ has anyone informed him that I am already perfect? π€¨
I sit. I stay. I come when called (usually, if the terms and conditions are acceptable). I perform a variety of impressive behaviours, and I have mastered the art of looking adorable while doing absolutely nothing.
WHAT MORE IS THERE TO LEARN?!
I quickly realised that this seminar was not actually for me. No, no. I was merely there to provide a practical demonstration of excellence while my human attempted to absorb information. Basically, I was the unpaid teaching assistant. You're welcome. π
I graciously participated in the exercises, demonstrated my considerable talents, and tried very hard not to look too smug when I got things right.
Meanwhile, my human was taking notes.
NOTES. ABOUT ME.
As if I am some sort of ongoing research project.
Honestly, the audacity.
Still, I suppose if my human insists on attending school, someone has to go along to supervise. And since I am clearly the brains of this operation, it had to be me.
Thank you, Toni, for your time, your knowledge, and for helping my human become a slightly less embarrassing handler. π
I shall be expecting my certificate of excellence in the mail.
My human can have the homework. πΎπ
- The Dog
Thanks Toni so much. Chilli and I have so much to learn and your enthusiasm and pure love for dogs and their abilities just shone through. Thank you for inspiring me with your little dogs - they can do just as much as the big ones! Chilli had a FABULOUS day (even though she looks grumpy in the photo!) - The Human
