On Monday, we visited our last port in our home country of Australia until we return in September. Aunty Kay and I got off the ship, walked around a bit and did some shopping whilst mum stayed on board did some reading, ate pizza and just enjoyed some calm time on the ship on her own. Picture: Stanley, a brown teddy bear dressed as a ship’s captain positioned inside a white life ring.
He has medium-brown fur and is wearing a white captain’s hat with a black band and yellow trim, plus a white shirt with black shoulder epaulettes trimmed in gold. His nose is dark brown with a lighter brown snout.

The life ring around stanley is white with dark blue lettering that reads, starting at the top and curving around:
“CROWN PRINCESS”
On the lower part of the ring, partly covered by the bear, the letters “PRINCESS” are visible, along with the Princess Cruises wave logo in blue on both the left and right sides.

Stanley is holding a rectangular dark blue sign across his front. The sign text, in white, says:
“We ❤️
Fremantle”
Between “We” and “Fremantle” there is a small red heart containing a white version of the Princess Cruises wave logo.

The first few days of our cruise have been busy! We have been learning our way around, getting to know our lovely cabin stuid and starting to decide what our routines might look like for the next 115 days. We were back in Melbourne for the day on Tuesday where we caught up with a friend for coffee. Yesterday we visited Adelade where Mum saw her brother. Today and tomorrow are sea days before we hit our last Aussie port, Perth. Picture: Stanley, a fluffy brown teddy bear dressed in a cruise ship captain’s uniform, including a white hat and shoulder epaulets, is nestled inside a white circular life ring. We are ready to go! Here we are in Sydney seeing our ship, the which will be home for the next 4 months pd: Kate, a woman with long light hair stands in front of a tall, black metal fence. I told you George would be in some photos from now on!! Here we are sitting on the railway platform at Arthur's Pass, having just travelled from Christchurch on the Trans Alpine railway. It was a very comfortable journey, especially when Mum and Kaye took me down to the cafe car and we sat for some time where I had lots of room to stretch out.

Hi all, I thought it was about time I showed you the nice man who is driving our coach. His name is Paul and he works for Grand Pacific Tours. He is a very good driver and a very nice man. In this picture he is holding a bear. This bear is our new travelling companion. His name is George and he joined us from the George Hotel in Christchurch. You will probably see a bit of George from now on. I don't mind him because he doesn't take up much room in my photos, leaving me as the main attraction—just as it should be!!!!

Here is a photo of a ferry that goes between Wellington and Picton. We couldn't get a photo of our actual ferry because there wasn't time. We travelled on the ferry for a couple of hours. the ferry crosses Cook Strait, which runns between the north and south islands of New Zealand. It was quite a comfortable trip and Mum and Kaye took me for a walk so I didn't so bored. We didn't stay in Picton at all, because we went for a train ride.

Write a caption... When we came back to the hotel after our afternoon walk, auntie Kaye showed mum a big teddy bear. He is the concierge of the hotel. I decided I would like to have a photo with him. So that is what I did. He is quite a big bear, around about 18 inches high. He is dressed up in a beautiful uniform and looks very proud.

Today we went and visited a museum. Mum was quite happy, because she was able to touch a lot of things. The parts of the museum that we visited demonstrated the changes in New Zealand from before settlement when it was just forest and animals all the way through to recent times. It was extremely interesting for the people, the only thing I found interesting was looking in a house that the entrance was only as big as me. Mum went in and earthquake simulator, but I stood outside and watched. After that, we sat on the bus and did a tour of Wellington. After that, we went for a walk around the city and a ride on the cable car. The photo here, is me sitting on a lookout point with a backdrop of the city of Wellington. We then went and had some dinner and a very early night. Mum said we have to get up at 5:30 tomorrow. I find it hard to get up any time… Oh well, I guess she’ll rows me when she’s ready for me to start work again.

We spent quite a long time on the coach as we drove from Rotorua to Wellington. One of the stops along the way was at Huka Falls, where I am sitting on the bridge with the falls behind me. We also stopped at a place where Mum and Kaye bought expensive jumpers. Kaye said they would last a lifetime. At one of the stops we found a dog rest area, so Mum let me go for a free run. I had lots of fun smelling all the other dogs and running around. I saw some birds that I wanted to chase, so I jumped through a hole in the fence to get them. Kaye had to come and get me because I wouldn't listen to Mum calling me. That was really fun!!!
