Ermington Vet Surgery in a small family run business, we love to serve our community and lead our patients down the road of recovery. We offer consults, vaccination, surgery, x-ray, ultrasound and much more for our furry friends health needs!

Consults, what are they and when should you book?

You probably are already thinking of a scene from "Bondi Vet" but consults can come in several forms!
Let's break it down, so you know which you need and when.

THE Consult-
You have an unwell or sick pet, spoke to a nurse on the phone and they have booked you in to be seen. This means you will be seeing a Vet. Feel free to ask them all your questions, bring along previous medications or history that you may have.

Nurse Consult-
You want nails trimmed, have questions about weight or are walking by and want to give your buddy a treat? Nurses can offer plenty of knowledge in the day to day care of pets and can answer most questions, or point you towards the right person.

Phone Consult-
You have probably had one and not realized! Our nurse will sometimes triage your pet over the phone to find out how urgently they need to be seen, this is a type of medical consultation and if you aren't sure if a visit is required we are always happy to chat on the phone.
