Cheeky Common Tree Snake!

This CTS made its way into a home in Caboolture, managed to get herself busted by knocking off these little plates on the wall!

I couldn’t help but laugh when I came around the corner to see her adorable innocent little face looking back at me covered in dust! 😍

The homeowner was amazing, she stood watch (along with her beautiful cat) the whole time until I arrived.

It is always recommended to stand watch, if safe to do so. It significantly increases the odds of being able to catch the snake successfully too and we always want the very best outcome when attending a catch.

Best part was showing the home owner this cute snake up close!

This gorgeous Coastal Carpet Python hitched a ride from Elimbah to Caboolture in the clients vehicle.

When going to check the oil, this client got quite a beautiful surprise!

I had this job referred on to me by another catcher, so by the time I had arrived, the snake had disappeared into the engine bay.

Took me a good 15minutes to even see some scales she was that well hidden!

Through a tiny hole under the front of the car I managed to catch a tiny glimmer of scales with my torch!!….I’m talking less than half a 5c piece was all I could see!

She had managed to squeeze into the wheel arch, so off it came and just when I thought I had her… she managed to disappear on me again.. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

These snakes can squeeze into the craziest places and she gave it an incredible effort to hide from me.. but guess who won in the end.. 🤣

Loved every second of this job and the reward of seeing her stunning colours at release just melts my heart! 💜💜

Must Watch to the end!

This stunning Coastal Carpet Python had a meal of Possum and made its way into a large outdoor chicken enclosure and perching itself on the window ledge to digest.

Unfortunately for this beautiful snake the chickens had voted to evict, as they didn’t want to be next on the menu…

We found the perfect release spot that held many surprises, which you will find one very cool one at the end of this video!

A small snapshot in time captured of a Coastal Carpet Python Release out at Woodford.

What you don’t see here, is the time spent letting the snake readjust into its environment.

This gentle giant stayed with us until she was ready to make her way back into the bush.

A concerned member of the public called in to a rescue group suspecting it might have been run over. I headed out to collect her and after a full health check at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital she was cleared for release and so we took her straight back to where she was found.

I feel so incredibly lucky to get to share a small portion of these moments with you all, so that hopefully you will see, they aren’t the villains they’re made out to be.

A reminder to be mindful while driving and watch out for wildlife cruising across our roads.
