☀️ THE WARM WEATHER IS HERE AND SO ARE THE SNAKES! 🐍With the beautiful sunny weather starting to show up across the region, our local reptiles are waking up and getting on the move.
We’ve already had a couple of call-outs this week, including a nice Highland Copperhead out on the Alpine Way and a gorgeous Eastern Brown Snake over in East Jindabyne! As the temperature rises, it is completely normal to see them moving through properties as they look for food and water.
Remember, they don't want to bother you—they are just doing their thing!
🏡 What to do if you see a snake in your yard:🚶‍♂️ Walk backwards slowly: Do not make sudden movements or panic.👀 Keep an eye on it: Monitor its location from a completely safe, respectful distance.
❌ Do not touch or try to move it: Most bites happen when people try to handle, harm, or interfere with them.
📞 Call a licensed professional: Give us a call straight away to safely move them along. If you need a hand keeping your property safe and having our native wildlife humanely relocated, save our number!

Spring is on the way in the Snowy Mountains! 🏔️🐍
As the weather warms up, our local reptiles will soon be waking up from their winter brumation. They will be looking for food to build up their energy and getting ready for the breeding season.
It is important to remember that snakes do not actively search for people to attack. Given the opportunity, a snake will always prefer to flee and hide. They will only defend themselves if they feel trapped, threatened, or cornered. In fact, a large percentage of snake bites occur when someone is trying to harm, kill, or interfere with the animal.
Snakes are an essential part of our ecosystem and have a vital right to live. Let's share our beautiful region safely with them this season!
If you spot a snake on your property and need it removed safely and efficiently, we are here to help. We are your local , experienced, licensed, and fully insured snake relocation specialists.
