Yesterday was the end of a legacy that was Trevor Roydan Barnett.

A boss, a mentor, an idol and a best friend who I have so much to be greatful for.

Roydan taught me so much, our place in this big working world, how to be encouraging and kind to other with employment and ultimately how to be one of the most successful contractors.

He was one of a kind and there was never a dull day, he never treated me any differently to the boys and wow did we have to rough it at times.

Although I never caught up with Roydan much in the later years he was never far from my thoughts. He gave me a start in an industry dominated by men, many wouldn’t have.

Rest in peace Roydan, you will always be apart of who I am.

Myself and the man who taught me well almost everything I know . Such a special part of my life , so much to thank him for Roydan Barnett (Lambmarking contractor for 50 years) . I’d be about 19 in this photo. This year is 15 years servicing my wonderful clients as Farm Assist and I think I’m pretty darn lucky to be apart of this industry
