Do you need to go away for a few days, do you want to go camping on the weekend or are you simply working long hours, leaving your dog at home alone for too long? I have a passion and deep love for animals, having spent a lot of my youth on a farm with horses, cows, pigs, chickens and dogs. I have also delivered Jack Russell puppies on a number of occasions in a midwife like role. This service is
available in an easily accessible location to bring joy into animal's lives and peace of mind for people. Daycare and boarding is limited to dogs only, but house visits are available for other animals, please see information further down. For doggy day care and boarding I will need you and your dog to meet with my dog and any other dogs staying with us at the time, in your presence, referred to as "meet and greet". This is to ensure dogs and people are comfortable and feel safe with the setting. My dog is very friendly and obedient and welcoming to other dogs coming to visit our home, stay for the day and overnight. We have a large yard with plenty of room to play, check out the gallery for other doggie fun facilities. I am a very active person, who loves walking and the outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fun, but I am conscious of our hot climate as well as the need for doggies to have rest time. In the really hot time of the year we make a very early start for our walk and may then retreat to the aircon after our play in the garden. Please note:

I prefer cycling for transport (to leave a small footprint on the environment), hence the restriction of the areas of service. On a typical visit I would spend 1 hour with your animals, including feeding, playing, cuddles. I am happy to attend to other things that need doing at the time, such as watering plants, putting out/in bins or taking the mail in. If dog walking is also desired I would take your dog/s for a minimum of 30 min walk. Cats don't usually appreciate walks and may not want that much attention, so time spent will depend on the nature of the cat, if you only have cat/s. Other types of animals can also be accomodated, although I would need to get some firm instructions if you have snake pets. I am a biomedical scientist from my background and confident to administer oral and injectable medication that you provide and to the schedule provided by you. I am happy to visit any time of the day, however, for anything involving exercise for your dog I prefer the cooler times of the day, morning and afternoon, in the interest of the dogs as well as my own. I will meet with you and your animal/s prior to providing the service. I regularly consult with highly qualified and reputable professionals, namely dog trainers and veterinarians, to get the best advice on my care.
