MEET OUR LONG-TERM PUPS
These three beautiful souls have been waiting over six months to find their furever families 💔 Read on below to see if one might suit your home! They are all desexed, microchipped, up to date with C5 vaccination and deworming, and local adoptions come with some bonuses throughout the trial stage and once the adoption is finalised.
We are also only one adoption away from hitting a milestone 50 adoptions in the last 3 years, so we would love to see one of these beautiful babies be that lucky number 🤞
1 - CHEVY (Fundora) - nearly 4 years old - last raced 30/11/2025 (10 whole months ago 😭)
Chevy is an energetic boy but despite this, he is a huge cuddle bug. As long as he gets the chance to stretch his legs and burn off his energy each day - which can be something as easy as a good walk - he will be happy to just hang out and nap the day away. Chevy is good with children, seems friendly with other greyhounds but has not met dogs of other breeds. He is not good with cats. Chevy would prefer a home where he is the only male dog.
2 - VIPER (Hyper Viper) - nearly 5 years old - last raced 14/01/2026 (8.5 months ago 🥺)
Viper is a very confident and outgoing girl, but she is also a bit of a sensitive soul who can become overstimulated in her environment. However, she doesn't shut down when she becomes stressed, her go-to is to find a way to expel the energy. Viper loves going to the beach and having a stroll through the waves, but she is just as content with access to a pool she can relax in whenever she chooses to. Viper would prefer a home who can keep the environment relatively calm and controlled and can understand that she is a bit unique. Viper is good with dogs of any size, but she can be a bit touchy if there is more than one calm dog around. She is not good with cats, and would prefer a home with older children if possible.
3 - SCARLETT (Bowhunter) - 4 years old - last raced 29/03/2026 (6 months ago 😢)
Scarlett is a quirky girl! She hasn't had much exposure to 'the outside world' just yet, but she is so excited to experience it with her person. Scarlett loves her walks and sniffing everything around her, so her perfect person would need to be willing to have a nice slow stroll a couple of times each day. She is a very strong girl though, so her person would need to be able to commit to some training (and be strong themselves)! Scarlett can be pretty selective with the dogs she shares her space with, so a home with one other dog at most would be best for her. She is not good with small dogs and is unlikely to be good around cats. Despite being strong and pushy, she is friendly with children and would likely be fine in a home with kids.
