Meet Butter!

Just look at this beautiful boy! 😍 Butter came to visit us today for his final puppy vaccination. 💉

Not only is Butter an absolute cutie, but he is also a calm, confident and happy little soul. He was an absolute pleasure to have in the clinic and took his visit completely in his stride! 🥰

We can’t wait to watch this handsome boy grow! 🐶❤️

Kobi the cutie! 💙

Kobi popped in to see us for his annual vaccination, and this handsome little man is all set for another year of preventative health! 🐾

Kobi has a convenient annual injections on board for flea and tick prevention as well as heartworm prevention. This means his owners only need to remember one thing for his parasite prevention — a tummy wormer every 3 months (or, as we like to say, every time the season changes! 😉).

Meet Evie! 🐾

Evie is a happy little Staffy who came to see us after her owners noticed a new mass on the underside of her paw.

Our in-house cytology showed some concerning cells, so surgical removal was recommended. However, the location of the mass presented a real challenge — removing it completely while still leaving enough skin to close the wound was going to be tricky!

Thankfully, Dr Tess was up for the challenge! 💪🏼 She took Evie to surgery and managed to remove the mass in its entirety. Histopathology confirmed it was a soft tissue sarcoma — but with complete excision! 🎉

Because of the location, Evie needed some post-operative bandaging to help protect the wound and give it the best chance to heal. Seen here are some photos of her post op healing.

We think Dr Tess is an absolute legend for achieving complete excision of such a nasty mass in such a challenging location! 👏🏼🐶

And, of course, Evie deserves a big round of applause too for being such a happy, brave little patient. ❤️🐾

DO YOU KNOW MY OWNER?
This beautiful 11yo Male Border Collie dog has been found near Saint Ruth this afternoon. He is microchipped, however ownership has not been updated from the breeder details. He is well and comfortable at the clinic. If you know him, we ask that you please contact the clinic so we can reunite him with his family.
