Perth Royal Show is 9 days away, and a lot of the exhibitors feeding in those sheds already know one truth.

We’re proud to be sponsoring Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Alpacas and the Egg Competition at the Perth Royal Show, 26 September to 3 October.

We’re doing it because this community backs our feed and mineral additives, and we like giving something back to the people who actually put the work in.

If you’re getting animals ready for show week, here’s the quick check that beats any label hype.

Show week feed check, the stuff you can see:
1) What’s left in the feeder at the end of the day. If they’re picking through it, you’re paying for ground cover.
2) What’s on the ground around the feeder. Waste is a quiet way to make “cheap” feed expensive.
3) Condition and coat, fleece, or feather. You’re looking for steady improvement, not miracles.
4) Energy and behaviour. The right nutrition shows up in the way they hold themselves.
5) How many bags you’re juggling. A feeding routine that needs a spreadsheet is usually telling you something.

Our standard is simple. Feed that earns its place.
Open the bag, have a look, feed it, and judge it by what disappears and what changes on the animal.

Three poultry shows in one big Saturday? That’s what we call a proper three-header.

This Saturday, 29 August, Consolidated Nutrition is proud to be co-sponsoring three fantastic WA poultry shows alongside some great local stockists:

Poultry clubs put a fair bit of work into bringing these shows together, giving breeders, exhibitors and chook enthusiasts the chance to catch up, share what they know and show off some seriously good-looking birds.

We’re proud to support the clubs, the people behind them and the stockists helping us make it happen.

If there’s a show near you, duck down the road and have a look. There’ll be plenty of fluffed feathers, proud owners and a few certified show-offs.

STOP FEEDING THE GROUND. 🌾💩

Ever looked at the “evidence” in the paddock or yard and thought…

We get asked a lot "Why dont we put antibiotics in our feeds?"

Here’s how we see it.

Our feeds don’t contain antibiotics or medicines. Instead, we focus on natural feed additives that support good gut flora — because a healthy gut helps animals stay strong from the inside out.

When gut bacteria are balanced, animals are better supported to cope when they come into contact with disease. And just as importantly, by not relying on antibiotics day‑to‑day, you help reduce the risk of resistance building up.
