There is something very relaxing about sitting in a paddock with miniature goats while they are snacking. That soft chewing sound is weirdly hypnotic 😜. If I fall asleep 😴 here I hope someone in the family comes and gets me 😂.

Happy Easter 🐣 from the herd matriarch at Long View Miniature Goats. Our friendly herd are always up for a set of bunny ears, but drew the line at a visiting rabbit. Fortunately AI was more accommodating.

Interested in adding mini goats 🐐 to your family? Our waiting list is open for 2026. Email us at longviewminiaturegoats@gmail.

Sometimes you just have to spend the end of your day hanging out with the girls 🐐.

What would christmas without miniature goats be like? We don’t intend to ever find out 😝!

Merry Christmas from the herd at Long View Miniature Goats. Tim and Holly added some Christmas 🎄 glam to the day, while everyone else helped (not quite the descriptor we’d use lol) us pick cherries to go with the Christmas trifle!

Note: cherries are for human consumption. Not for goats!

🎄✨ Christmas came early for our mini goats! 🐐💚

After wrapping up some work for a client in Clunes, Adam at FireReady.com.au treated our lucky little herd to an entire trailer load of sweet, green garden treats🥰 (all safe for goats to eat).

Pippy (our herd matriarch) was suitably impressed! Long View Bella also expressed her appreciation, while everyone else was too pre-occupied eating to remember their manners!

Huge shoutout and thank you to Adam & the FireReady team for spreading a little extra joy to our four-legged friends.

Today we were excited for Long View Henry and Margaret to join their new family! They showed how easy it is to safely transport miniature goats; connected by a lead to pet harnesses in the back of the car!

One of the questions the family asked was what ‘shouldn’t’ they feed Henry and Margaret. Brilliant question! This great poster is a good reminder of what to avoid, but if in doubt, always google first.

Often our goats 🐐 go to new homes where there are chickens 🐓. Chicken food is a big no no. We stick to grass, lucerne hay when they need protein, goat mix (we like barastock) and a few favourite treats like weetbix, bananna chips and our family’s (so no herbicides) rose 🌹 cuttings 😊. Supplemented with a mineral block, this steady diet keeps them healthy and happy.

Meanwhile Henry and Margaret already look settled into their new home 🏠. We love getting the happy snaps once they reach their destination.

…and just like that our last kid 🥰 has been born for 2025!

Longview Holly is only a few hours old but that twinkle ✨ in her eye as she balances in Jacob’s hands suggests she is an old soul. We cant wait to see how her temperament develops but for now she’s a very relaxed ☺️ soul, just like her mum, Bo Peep Serenity.

Nothing beats a good Country Show!🌟

The Clunes & District Agricultural Society Show is done and dusted for another year, and wow - what a fun day! 🤩 A huge shout-out to Sue and Di for helping us share our goat 🐐 display with everyone who stopped by to meet our kids.

Wee Tim loved the adventure… but definitely slept well Saturday night! 😜.

Thanks also to Miniature Goat Breeders Association of Australia - MGBA and Rosewood Lodge Farm who helped make the goat show possible. And Riverstone Miniature Goats for travelling so far!
