Many of you will have already heard the heartbreaking news about Jack Keioskie. What was meant to be one of the happiest times of his life — celebrating his upcoming wedding with family who had travelled from Australia to be with him — turned into a nightmare when Jack was the victim of a violent assault in Calgary. He remains in hospital and faces a long road to recovery, with enormous financial pressure mounting on him and his family every single day.

Jack's parents are Vicki & Mark Keioskie of VK Vinyl — a family who has given so generously to our rodeo community through sponsorship, donated items and support for so many of us over the years. Now it's our turn to give back.

The Youth Rodeo Organisation and HAIKO & HUNA are joining forces to hold an online auction fundraiser to help Jack and his family through this incredibly difficult time — and we need YOUR help to make it a success.

We entered Sunny With a Chance of love and two of his last litter in our first dog shows on the weekend.

It was a great experience and we learnt a lot from judges and other competitors. Thank you to Elizabeth Anderson for the guidance leading up to the show and for showing the dogs on the night I was away, together with Joel. So very grateful for the support.

We came away with a haul of ribbons for the Champion Intermediate miniature long haired dachshund, and Champion baby puppy (0-6 months) Miniature Long Haired Dachshund at each show.

A special Thanks to Mum, Lauren and Liam for staying with them, looking after them and taking them home on Saturday night.

Also a shout out to The Cloncurry Dog club for hosting the shows. I probably would never have entered if it hadn’t been local, but now I know a bit about what they do - I might start going to a few. Congratulations on a successful show.

We have Sunnyside Lil Bobby entering his first show this weekend.

He is our only puppy for sale and we hope to see him continue on with a family who would like to show him.

🤍 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 🤍

Our precious imported, registered and pedigreed Long Haired Cream Miniature Dachshunds, Sunny and Lily, welcomed a stunning litter of five puppies on 5 January.

With two already secured via our waitlist, we currently have three gorgeous siblings available — and we’re doing our best not to fall completely in love with them ourselves 💛 These little ones are now ready to be viewed via our RightPaw breeder profile.

Bella (no collar) and Bobbi (yellow collar) are our two shaded cream females. As they grow, we expect their colouring to develop beautifully — potentially lightening to match their Mum Lily or even their Dad Sunny. Our black and cream male Billy is incredibly special to us, showcasing traits from earlier generations — something we haven’t seen in our lines before!

Both parents are IVDD clear, fully genetic health tested, ANKC registered, and imported from exceptional championship bloodlines in the USA.

Lily is the most loving, easy-going girl with a playful nature, and she has been an absolutely devoted mum. Sunny is a big-hearted boy who loves the water — we often joke he thinks he’s part fish 🐾

Their previous puppies have grown into beautifully balanced, affectionate companions, and we have every expectation this litter will be just as special.
