A little throwback to this belt I made a year ago, my first belt for a client.

Using a light tan antique to bring this Don Gonzales pattern to life, then finishing it with the client's initials and matching buckstitch to tie everything together into a timeless, natural statement piece.

Looking back, it's hard to believe how much has changed in just one year. What started as a hobby has grown into opportunities I never imagined, and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who's supported me along the way.

Here's to another year of learning, creating, and plenty more exciting projects still to come

To optimise our grazing and pastures we are running multiple Flerd's (sheep and cattle together).

There have been a few questions of late of how do we move our Flerd's and how well does it it actually work?

So I thought it best to show how well it works.

No pushing or shoving and the cows are more than accepting of sharing their space with the ewes.

Educated livestock should be respectful livestock.

A big day at the Casterton Working Dog Auction with wonderful sunshine all day, and although both dogs unfortunately fell just shy of their reserves, I was really proud of how they handled themselves amongst all the noise and excitement of the day.

Soul was her usual self, calm and collected with her stock, while Rocky showed plenty of keenness and enthusiasm to work on some challenging sheep for a young pup.

Rocky is still available and looking for his new work mate. He’s a loyal young dog with plenty of ability and I’d love to see him go to the right home.

Thanks to everyone who stopped for a chat or showed interest in the dogs throughout the day

Soul will be doing her demonstration at the end of other demonstrations as she is in season. She is still available for viewing upon request as she housed securely away from the main viewing shed
