"It was nearly 3am, but I didn't care. I hit the video call button, praying for an answer."

Within minutes, Ben received a callback.

"That moment gave me hope on one of the darkest nights of my life."

That's what free 24/7 vet telehealth looks like: a real call, answered, in the middle of the night when Ben needed someone on the other end.

Ben's story with his dog Sasha is one we won't forget. If you're facing a difficult moment with your pet, you don't have to face it alone.

There's nothing quite like the way a pet knows when you've had a hard day. No agenda, no explanation needed, they're just there. ๐Ÿ’™

Which is exactly why accessing care shouldn't depend on what you can afford, or what else you're carrying.

Sasha was Ben's shadow for 12 years. When she became seriously unwell and Ben was facing financial hardship, he didn't know where to turn.

Through PetSafetyNet, Ben was connected with a vet via free 24/7 telehealth, and later, urgent in-clinic care.

In the end, despite a devastating diagnosis, Ben was able to be there for Sasha's final moments โ€“ supported, not alone.

"She didn't suffer in pain and confusion. She was safe, warm and loved. It was a way for me to be the kind of owner she deserved, right to the end."

PetSafetyNet exists so no pet carer has to face these moments without support by their side.

If you're facing a difficult moment with your pet and cost is a barrier, help may be available.
