Not sure if your pet's symptoms need a vet urgently? Some signs worth watching for:
⚠️ Difficulty breathing
⚠️ Repeated vomiting
⚠️ Eaten something toxic or a foreign object
⚠️ Vocalising in distress or pain
⚠️ Refusing food or water for more than a day
⚠️ Any traumatic injury like a bite, fight wound, or similar
⚠️ Sudden lethargy or a big change in their normal behaviour

If you're ever unsure, a vet can help you figure out what needs an urgent in-clinic visit and what can be carefully monitored by you.

When a pet needs urgent care and cost is a worry, a vet nurse is often one of the first people you’ll talk to. They’re part of the teams that make care through PetSafetyNet possible.
