✨ WE’RE LOOKING FOR A LITTLE HELPER TO JOIN THE WOOFSPARK TEAM ✨

Do you love dogs, enjoy staying busy, and have a bubbly personality? 🐶💕

We’re looking for a junior salon assistant (around 16+) to help our team with the day-to-day little jobs that keep the salon running smoothly!

Your role may include:
🫧 Washing & drying dogs
🧹 Cleaning & tidying the salon
🐾 Helping keep the dogs comfortable and happy
🧺 General salon assistance

This is NOT a grooming position — no haircuts involved — just helping our lovely team with the little things throughout the day ✨

We’re looking for someone who is:
💗 Kind and gentle with dogs
💗 Reliable and motivated
💗 Friendly, confident & NOT shy
💗 Happy to chat with the team and clients
💗 Willing to learn and get involved

She was being brushed at home, every week.
But brushing on top isn’t the same as brushing through to the skin — and underneath that fluffy coat, this is what we found. Solid mats, right against her skin. She’d been uncomfortable for a long time, and no one knew.
We never judge. Life gets busy, and owners always do their best with what they know. But when mats get to this stage, the kindest thing we can do is start fresh. She actually relaxed the moment it was done.

🇦🇺🐾 ANZAC Day treats for dogs? Yes please.

A fun homemade twist for your furry mate using simple, dog-friendly ingredients and plenty of love 💗

🍪 Woofspark ANZAC Pup Treat Recipe

Ingredients:
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1 cup oat flour or wholemeal flour
• ¼ cup unsweetened desiccated coconut
• 1 ripe banana, mashed
• 2 tbsp natural peanut butter (xylitol free)
• 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
• ¼ cup plain pumpkin puree or unsweetened applesauce
• 1 egg

Optional extras:
✨ Pinch ground cinnamon
✨ 1 tsp chia seeds

Method:
1️⃣ Mix all ingredients into a dough
2️⃣ Roll out and cut shapes
3️⃣ Bake at 160°C for 20–25 mins
4️⃣ Cool completely before serving

🌿 Cinnamon
Safe in tiny amounts and adds a lovely aroma. Too much may upset sensitive tummies.

🌱 Chia Seeds
Great source of fibre and omega fats. Best used lightly.

🐶 My tip: a pinch of cinnamon + 1 tsp chia in the whole batch is plenty.

Do Cavoodles shed? 👀🐾

Short answer: Most Cavoodles are low-shedding to non-shedding — but the reason why is what most people never explain.

Many Cavoodles inherit coat traits from the Poodle side, where hair stays in the growth phase longer instead of dropping like heavy-shedding breeds.

That’s why many Cavoodles:
✨ Leave less hair around the home
✨ Need regular haircuts
✨ Need brushing to prevent knots + matting

Coat type also matters:

🐾 Fleece coat – usually low-shedding
🐾 Wool coat – most Poodle-like / lowest shedding
🐾 Straight coat – may shed a little more

Important: Less shedding does NOT mean low maintenance.

Loose hair can stay trapped in the coat, so regular brushing is essential.
