Working with Kora has been a deeply meaningful journey. As a highly intelligent and protective dog shaped by past experiences, she initially found it difficult to feel safe and relax around others. Through her owner’s unwavering commitment and a gentle, trust-based approach, Kora has made remarkable progress - learning that she is safe, that not every person is a threat, and that she can let her guard down in her own home. Gaining her trust to the point of calm interaction, connection and play has been an absolute privilege, and a true reflection of the patience, consistency, and love invested in her. Kora’s growth is both significant and inspiring, and I’m incredibly proud to have been part of her journey. I can’t wait to see her heal and realise how safe and loved she truly is! Special needs pets who need extra care to feel safe hold a very special place in my heart. This is why I do his work! 🎉

Today, we remember the brave animals who served alongside soldiers in times of war—horses, donkeys, dogs, carrier pigeons, and so many more. They carried supplies, delivered messages, offered comfort, and gave their lives.

Their courage, loyalty, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
