Lenny decided he was happier to be examined on the floor, he felt safer there
He also was rewarded with treats for allowing each part of his exam - win win!

He left happy with a plan to combat his food aggression! Time to get to work Len!

* Breeds that are predisposed to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM): Maine C**n, Ragdoll and some Sphynx, Persians, British Shorthair, Bengal and Birmans
* ProBNP can increase before echocardiography changes
* Serum galectin 3 - biomarker of fibrosis, new marker in stage B2/C HCM
* Clopidogrel is always dosed at 18.75mg per cat
* Some cats have a P2RY1 gene mutation and standard doses won't be effective
* Genetic testing is available at NC State
* Riveroxaban and clopidogrel had similar reductions in FATE recurrence rates
* If there is systolic dysfunction, severe HCM and CHF with low output signs you can use Pimobendan
* Don't use Pimobendan if there is severe DLVOTO
* Felycin is not available in Australia and the generics are not the same for cats!

They took turns being meerkats and watching the passing traffic, then after their exam, walked home on their leads!

Gorgeous "Mina" twinned with her treat dish today 👯‍♂️😆

Though shy in clinic, she ran the show in the comfort of her own bedroom (yes, she has an entire room all to herself!) and didn't even notice she had a full check up and vaccination 💉

She has two siblings, both black and white 🤍 🖤 kitty cuties!
