Shags is quite literally the sweetest little gentleman. 🥹 He absolutely adores people and would love a home where someone is around more often than not, with secure fencing.

UPDATE - Pound advised he has been picked up by his owners. Foster no longer needed.

🚨 VICTORIA — SOMEONE PLEASE FOSTER THIS ANCIENT MAN FROM THE POUND 🚨

Meet Bill.

Bill is an elderly Border Collie who has somehow found himself in the pound at an age where his biggest concern should be whether dinner is six minutes late and which orthopedic bed best supports his weary old bones.

Instead, Grandpa is behind bars.

Honestly, the audacity.

Bill is a quiet, gentle old boy who isn't asking for much. He's done his time. He's paid his taxes.* He's tired.

*Bill has almost certainly never paid taxes.

We urgently need a carer in Victoria who can give this distinguished old gentleman somewhere safe and quiet to land.

Safe - Thank you to Rescue Hub for saving this beautiful Boy 🙏

❌🐾 POOR PORRIDGE URGENTLY NEEDS A HOME ❌

Located: NSW Pound

This young Staffy and is a beautiful boy and very friendly, great with people and kids, and a classic Staffy who just wants to be close to you, leaning against you and soaking up all the love. ❤️

🐶 Porridge came into the pound with other dogs and has also met other dogs while there, with positive interactions. He can be selective, however, as he had a negative reaction to one particular dog that he really didn’t like.

❤️ 9 months old
❤️ Super friendly
❤️ Great with people and kids
❤️ Affectionate and loves being close to his humans
❤️ Has had positive interactions with other dogs
❤️ Still young with so much potential

Porridge is only a baby and deserves the chance to get out of the pound.

The last 7 days… ❤️🐾

3 rescue trips.
Around 3,000km on the road.
A LOT of coffee. ☕️
And most importantly — 13 dogs getting their second chance.

From tiny pups to oldies, every one of them had a different story and a different reason for needing a ride. Now they’re safe, in the hands of some incredible rescue people, and onto the next chapter.

A massive shoutout to Promising Paws Inc Dog Rescue, D.A.R.E Inc | Dog Rescue QLD and Qld Staffy & Amstaff Rescue for taking them on and doing the work that comes next. ❤️

Long days. Lots of kilometres. Plenty of dog hair in the car.

Peony’s freedom ride came with a little extra baggage. ❤️‍🩹🐾

She was battling Puppy Strangles, a rare and painful inflammatory condition affecting young puppies.

Thankfully, treatment was already underway thanks to Qld Staffy & Amstaff Rescue , and Peony still had plenty of puppy spirit left in her. ❤️

So Peony and her siblings Heath, Clementine, Zinnia and Orchid piled in for the long ride from Central QLD towards their new lives with foster carers from Qld Staffy & Amstaff Rescue.

One little fighter. One big journey. And hopefully a much brighter road ahead. 🐶🚙❤️
