Two very different dogs. Same outcome.

Bob:
• 6 months old
• Grew up on a chain
• Now obsessed with car rides and cuddles

Milo:
• Tiny dachshund
• “Out of options” (somehow??)
• Absolute 10/10 passenger with better recall than most dogs I know

This one was an overnight run through NSW with a few pit stops for the pups.

Huge shoutout to for pulling it together.

Adoption Update!!! 🩷

Bayou — formerly Bella — has found her forever home 🤍🥰

Bayou came down to safety with (Ruff Friends), and it wasn’t long before she found exactly where she was meant to be.

She has settled in beautifully with Emilie and Michael, who had been finding it hard to open their hearts again after losing their precious pup Blaze just 18 months ago.
Sometimes the right dog just finds you at the right time… and Bayou was that dog 💕

Thank you, Emilie and Michael, for giving Bayou such a loving home.
You have made us all incredibly happy. 🐾
We miss her, but we wish you all the absolute very best in your life together xx

He was a perfect big passenger for the trip. So so happy to see him find his people!!

**UPDATE — Qube! 🐾❤️**

You might remember our beautiful last-minute rescue just before Christmas — Duke.
Gene from Ruff Friends raced up to Rocky to get him just in the nick of time, and the lovely Hannah cared for him through his castration surgery and until his new family came along.

Well… these days he’s known as **Qube**, and Susanne and her family absolutely adore him. 💕

Susanne says:
*"Qube is hilarious and oh my gosh, since that testosterone finally settled about 4 weeks ago, he’s back to his usual goofy, cuddly self. His digging has stopped as well — after he dug out most of my potted plants! He’s amazing with other dogs and kids and so much better on walks, although leash training is still a work in progress. He definitely thinks he’s a tiny lapdog…"*

Thank you, Susanne, for sticking by him — even through the naughty moments. Rescue dogs can sometimes be a bit of hard work at first, and we’re so grateful you didn’t give up on him.

There really *is* light at the end of the tunnel, and Qube now knows he has a consistent, loving family who will always be there for him. 🐾❤️

We absolutely love happy endings like this.

This bonded pair are taking their next tiny steps to a new life thanks to Jo and . Pip is a 14 year old dachshund beagle cross and Sugar is a 6 year old Jack Russell terrier.
Senior dogs rarely make it out of pounds, so it feels good to make the journey for these two.

Beautiful Bella is still looking for a home!

At 5 years old, Bella is a confident, easygoing girl who knows what she likes—and what she doesn’t.
She gets along beautifully with all animals, including dogs, cats, ducks, and chickens, but she won’t tolerate pushy or dominant behaviour.
She’s a calm, relaxed companion who just wants a peaceful environment to enjoy life.

Bella may give a little growl when meeting new dogs or if they’re jumping all over her—this is just her setting boundaries while she figures them out. Once she settles, she’s been getting along well with everyone.
She’s also wonderful with respectiful kids and has a lovely, steady nature.
Like any dog, she’ll just need a few quiet days to settle into her new home and feel comfortable.

Take Chuck anywhere — he just gets it 🤩

Crowds, new faces, different environments… Chuck takes it all in stride. He’s the kind of dog who settles in quickly, reads the room, and makes himself right at home (usually with a wag and a hopeful look for a pat).

At just 10 months old, this Amstaff blend has that easy, in-between energy — playful when it’s time to go, relaxed when it’s time to switch off. He’s social with dogs, respectful with cats, and has already shown he’s a great match for kids 5yrs+.

He’s got his basics sorted, walks well on lead, and adds a bit of personality into everything he does (yes, including his signature “head as brakes” move). He’ll happily chase a ball, but he’s just as keen to climb into your lap after and call it a day 🥰

Chuck would love a home where he’s included — whether that’s out and about or just part of the daily routine. He’s not hard work, just good company.

Chani was a stray found in Atherton, and we are very glad that she has a second chance because she is a loving and affectionate girl who likes nothing better than to be next to you receiving a cuddle or a pat. She always runs to meet you, madly wagging her tail and glad to see you returning home or getting up in the morning!

She has just completed all her vet work and checks and is extremely healthy and ready to rehome. Chani LOVES food and this food motivation makes her easier to train. She is quickly learning to walk well on lead but because she is still a puppy, she needs more practice!
