Have you noticed your horse feeling a little stiff, reluctant to bend, or just not quite themselves lately?

Sometimes they’re trying to tell us they’re carrying tension or soreness.

Equine bodywork is a gentle, hands-on way to help release muscle tension, improve movement, and support your horse’s overall comfort and wellbeing. Whether they’re competing, out on the trails, or happily enjoying retirement, every horse can benefit from a little extra care.

I take the time to work with each horse as an individual, creating a calm, relaxed experience that’s tailored to their needs.

If you’ve been wondering whether bodywork could help your horse, I’d love to have a chat and answer any questions.

“Was that a crack?” 🤔

If you’ve ever heard a popping sound during a bodywork session—whether on a horse, dog, or human—it’s easy to assume something dramatic just happened. But despite common belief, it’s not bones being “cracked” back into place.

What you’re actually hearing is gas being released from the joint. 💨

Joints are filled with synovial fluid to help everything move smoothly. When a joint is mobilised or stretched quickly, the pressure inside changes. This can cause tiny gas bubbles to form and collapse—a process called cavitation. It’s completely normal and not harmful.

The presence (or absence) of a sound doesn’t reflect how effective the adjustment is. Some techniques cause an audible release, others don’t—both can still bring significant benefits.

So no, I’m not “cracking” your horse or dog like bubble wrap—I’m supporting their body to move, function, and feel its best. 🐴🐶💪
